nobody playing arcueid may be the reason she keeps getting buffed.... honestly as an Arc main i'm eating a bit too well lol
As long as people keep picking vlov they’re gonna keep buffing Arc lol
All they gotta do is let Warc press and hold 2 during the throw animation. That's all I'm asking for her.

I would say it's apparent that French Bread only balances according to JP players, but a JP Hisui just won EVO so I really don't know what they were thinking. Cool buffs for Saber and Noel, definetly needed that love, but Roa and Arc are so dumb currently.
Still a healthier environment than previously since more one sided strategies have more counterplay, but I really wished we got more transparency with these changes, like what motivated them to do this and that.
They probably had already finalised these changes before evo

Saber may have had some buffs but I feel the universal nerf to aerial charge C really hurt her. She was pretty reliant on it.
As a fellow Arc main, I really appreciate being well fed. But your right this feels like one of everything at KFC

I just started playing MBTL because of the auto-combo changes and whatnot, and I'm sitting here in Training mode with Kouma thinking like... "This dude doesn't feel like a grappler, so why is his movement nerfed like a Grappler's would be?"
Him being the only character to not be able to chain hits in the air, and jump in air combos is... It's really weird and just feels unusual. It's not gonna stop me from playing him, cause I think he's really cool. But it's weird cause he's just a Bruiser with a command grab. Not a grappler.
They need to give him better tools to compensate for his shortcomings
@@sammydray5919 I don't know enough about MBTL to really make an educated... well... anything. But I would really like for him to have that extra "Jump after an airborne hit" system mechanic like everyone else has. Also maybe a bit more range on his 214B command grab cause it doesn't really have any range lmao
But he has an invincible DP, a bunch of Armor, and basically does 3.5K off any stray hit. So he isn't bad, he's just missing some little things imo
How impactful are the shield changes overall?? And the combo freedom any better. I know they said that was their goal but I am curious how well they actually implemented all that stuff
One thing I can say for sure is that the shield changes are spot on they really did a great job. Now you actually have to think when and where to use your shield and not just mash it whenever you are in a mix or a corner. As for the combo freedom we will have to wait and see. Definitely the characters feel more unique and have different tools most of them.
@@leftskeletor Love to hear that. I never get to play too much because of IRL stuff but I LOVE watching this game and seeing evo was a blast. Really hope this game keeps getting better and more successful 😀❤️
Combo freedom is weird. Warc and Roa got many new combo routes from their changes, but there are also Saber and Ciel that barely got any.
They nerfed Ciel when I just hit b with her and has 40 win rate...

I just faced an S ciel as a A saber...that ciel was gawdlike, so I would say play her. She is crazy good.
The only nerfs she really got was her keys doing less dmg...everything else is mostly unchanged
The things people were saying about saber (worse tohno) was how i felt about arc (im an arc main, and my friend is a tohno main, and i used to have nightmares of his tohno) so i am so glad that arc got buffed
I really dont think Ciel got nerfed
