It’s my ultimate goal in life to become an Pennsylvania State Game Warden. I’m only 18 right now so I’m not old enough. But I’m going to go to college for Wildlife management and conservation. I’m also currently a volunteer firefighter so that helps to!
Pa Game Warden Madison Kyle, along with State Game Warden Daniel Carl and Deputy Wildlife Conservation Officer Carl E. McAdams captured and tagged two male turkeys at my residence today and demonstrated how professional and dedicated they are to their jobs. Our wildlife in our state are in capable and caring hands and I am proud to have met them and got to see how turkeys are caught and tagged. Outstanding!
I went to school for criminal justice I was looking to further my experience by doing the deputy game warden how does that work apart from being a full time conservation officer I am working in private security for the time being.
my only concern is the 50 week live-in training. do ya get to go home on weekends (doesnt have to be a sat sunday but atleast 2 days off)? I have kids I'd like to see but this is also a perfect career so I'm torn
I believe so, as on non-duty days at the school you HAVE to leave. Also apparently on Wednesdays you are free for a few hours, however it seems like most of your time with your kids is going to be through face time. Keep in mind you may also have to relocate if you do get the job.
PAGC needs semiautomatic high capacity rifles to walk around the lake and make sure everybody has a fishing license, but PA hunters can’t use grandpa’s Remington 742 to go deer hunting. Great logic!
I believe in Pennsylvania you can use any bolt action rifle that’s below .38 cal for big game. Yes, they have semiautomatic medium capacity magazines, because the population they mainly deal with (hunters and civilians in the state of PA that has considerably relaxed gun laws) will most likely have a firearm on them. Surely they aren’t enforcing people to have fishing licenses with semiautomatic rifles, that’s just silly.
@@rifleshooterchannel208 You know if you don’t like PAGC enforcing the fishing and hunting laws and doing their job you could just move out 🤷🏼♂️ more fishing and hunting spots and opportunities for people like me who actually appreciate what these men and women do to keep our natural resources around and fish and game animals safe.
@@robsocks9389 “Just doing their job” didn’t work at Nuremberg, it’s not an excuse. Good to see you’re a bully though telling people things like “make me”. Really makes it clear why you support LE overreach. Which is ironic considering you don’t even actually know the laws based on your first post in this comment chain 😂

North central PA needs a new one. Corrupt individual
