Wow only 100 days for taking a life
If I was that young man's family I would want to see him do 100 years, especially when it took him 10 years

100 days... I would not ever vote any judge back to the bench who could let someone off that easy he should have done at least 10 years plus 10 probation

Quick question I’m not in Texas and i don’t waterfowl hunt but here in Kentucky where I am you are allowed to hunt with a gun that can hold more than 3 shells you just can’t have more than three shells in you gun while hunting

Kentucky is a bit more lax on hunting rules than Texas so I think in regards to the three shell capacity they leave it to people to self police but in Texas they’re strict about it so they demand a set capacity

1st. I'm sorry about Officer Daniels friend. But the perp should have gotten 10yr minimum in prison, just for the fact he tried to hide it.
2nd, I would have arrested the guy with no id. And cited each of them for illegal weaponry.
3rd. I don't know that I would be telling poachers just how thinly spread our officers are. In fact, it's kinda dumb that you would expose that fact.

As a wildlife biologist myself, I totally agree.

There’s not a lot of poaching down here in Texas. 95% of this land is privately owned…you’d more than likely be trespassing and the Warden is the least of your worries.
