The more you dissect from McCartney's solo tracks his vocal harmonies and innovative instrument arrangements, the more one is left in awe for his musical genius:
1. The commentary on how he used the moog on this track (yes! absolutely! also influential on Van Halen, if you think of the synthesizer use on the opening line for 'Jump' ...to name just one example!)
2. The simultaneous double-tracking of "who-oo-oo-oo-oo-oo-woo-ooh" in BOTH minor and major keys...Unreal. Who else would have thought of doing something like that, at the time.
Quite simply: No-one else. but McCartney! Could have pulled these off...It's unreal how massively talented this guy is.
Paul is the greatest composer in the history of humanity and will always reign as king.
This channel is absolutely astounding. Galeazzo has provided an immeasurable understanding of the music of The Beatles and beyond.
This gave me a new appreciation for this McCartney classic.
Love that you're focusing on Macca's solo career with these recent videos! Never noticed the dissonance in the backing vocals but as you said can't unhear it now...
Glad you like them!
Raffaella is such a great Linda!
"Sgt major" is suuuuch a Linda harmony
This chanel should have so many more views, it is excellent.
Sempre eccezionale Galeazzo. Very best greetings from Rome. Massimo. Cheers
Jet is such an amazing song. One of Paul's best hard rocking song. Phew, the vocals are complicated and I never knew about the major and minor layering trick. I'll never ever take this song for granted again
It's the harmonies I'm here for! Thanks for making a new vocal harmony video.
You're welcome!!
Outstanding. Jet and Bluebird are both great songs.
Brilliant work Galeazzo .. the drone on the Moog was probably a part for Linda who is under-rated in her contribution to Wings. Her vocals provide great colour to the Wings BVs.
How much more of a lower rating could you prove someone to have than having them perform a drone on a Moog? 🤣
Phantastic singers 👍👍 Thank you for teaching !!
Still hoping you'll do "Hello Goodbye"
The combined major/minor is a very interesting idea. Makes it sound bigger somehow. Thank you for the detailed work you have put into this.
Excellent!!
I still have the vinyl single. Now I know why I found the song so great and still do. Thanks for the great video.🙂
You are incredibly talented
What a scholar of the beatles…I have learned so much about their music. So many interesting things that you can’t unhear!
Great video!
Thanks!
Gran video Gale. Torno ai tempi di quando tu io e Roby, nel bus a Varese, intonavamo "Nowhere man" a 3 voci.... che ricordi !!! Grazie per questi video !!
Alla grande!
Amazing as usual!
Thank you for another excellent video. What a great channel this is - I'm no singer, but over the years you've taught me so much about Beatles songs.
This one has really shown me what incredible melodies there are in all layers of this song; top 5 McCartney solo track.
I absolutely love your channel!
After all your fantastic work all these years, you deserve Paul to grant you an interview for your channel.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - genius
Superb!!!!!!!!!!!!
This songs so good, it's my favorite off the album!
I always use it as a reference. Very easy to understand and great
Wonderful!!!!! THANKS!!!
Amazing. Thanks
You never cease to amaze me
Ad usual an excellent video. Thanks a lot for uploading!
Please make a video revealing how you sound like Paul and his vocal technique! You sound just like him and it would be amazing if you could do a video on how to sound like him.
Ok let's see :)
I was curious about that too! When he sings "with the wind in your hair...", he sounds just like Paul.
F'en AMAZING!
Amazingly GREAT SONG!

Super cool
❤️❤️❤️
Great videos mi amico 🙂
Could you please try to do Good Morning Good Morning from Sgt. Pepper’s? The harmonies really confuse me and you help a ton
G seems like the most likable guy on the internet .
Please, do the new Beatles's song "Now and then".
Awesome! I am not looking forward to singing that E5!!!
In the Wings version, who actually sang each of the vocal parts (Paul, Linda, Denny)? Is it possible that the minor/major thing is actually just someone not hitting that C# but really just falling a bit shy, landing on C? Either way, is it possible that it wasn't noticed or, if they did notice, they left it in because it sounded so interesting?
Then again ;) the lyrics actually talk about "The Major"??!!
👏👏👏👍👍👍
Your vid’s are amazing. Scared me a little with how much effort you put into becoming Linda 😂😂
See how beautiful I became in the effort :)))
Do you think the random 'minor and major' lines in the oooo-ooo part was a clever creation...or a wonderful accident? IMO, THIS is the magic of the old method of recording, when the band was all in one room, as were the vocalists singing together...these little 'creations' - I believe - could have been accidents of pitch that ended up sounding amazing...and they simply left it in to the final mix...
Love your channel. Thanks for all your work and your talents. Just want to point out that you forgot to isolate one of the parts in the verse. (“Sgt Major”)..the D to C# notes
Thank you for your appreciation. I confirm all the vocals are covered in the video. You're referring to the mid vocals in the 2nd verse which are identical to the ones in the last verse which I covered. Only the higher vocals change between the "Sgt Major" and "Thousand laces", this is why you find the "Sgt Major" higher vocals pointed out in the video.
I’m not finding it. Lol. …the part that goes (“Sky……. - D, C#, D, B)
I hear you singing it with the group harmonies, i just don’t see that part isolated anywhere in the video…. Could be me
Again, thank you for all your videos, you’re an incredible musician and nobody pays attention to the nuances like you🙏🙏
sounds so amazing!! btw is that woman in your video your wife?
It's Raffaella, my girlfriend
@@TheBeatlesVocalHarmony tell her i said hi 💝💝
Please listen to The REO BROTHERS playing The Beatles!!!!!!!

Bravo Prof, now speak to me in Italian for 15 minutes.
GF is the real deal
Outstanding, is that your wife?
My girlfriend :)
@@TheBeatlesVocalHarmony Great! of you to have included her in the tutorial: Some critics of McCartney's early solo efforts questioned her role in Wings but, as your girlfriend shows: Linda did her vocal parts well, and deserved her place within the band!
She's just as talented....wow
I love the harmonies on Ask Me Why
@@tonymolino7337 ...Absolutely!
Linda Eastman was a great perfomer totally at the height of performing with Sir Paul @@Merseyrock
