www.fruduamusi... - Watch Galeazzo Frudua breaking down (totally by ear) some complex harmony parts, by using the same method he has used for decyphering The Beatles Harmonies in the past years.
In this vocal lesson, harmony/breakdown tutorial, he's breaking down some complex parts of the song "Wasted on the way" by Crosby, Still & Nash. The breakdown was committed by a CS&N tribute band. NEED TO BREAKDOWN A VOCAL HARMONY? WRITE ME ➡ info@fruduamusic.com

Thank you folks for your appreciation:)
This is a great video. We usually see your final results with perfect breakdowns on often complicated harmonies. This shows the hard work involved in mastering the harmony breakdown. It takes a very talented ear like yours to figure out the nuances in the harmonies. It also takes an excellent memory to put it all together. You've helped me and many others master harmonies we never would have normally.
In a men’s quartet, I can hear the tenor, lead, and bass parts but have a real problem hearing the middle (baritone) part. On Beatle songs, when they sing as a trio, I can hear Paul’s parts easily but I have trouble hearing John’s and George’s harmonies.
Such an underrated vocalist, and teacher. I've learned everything I know from you, vocally. Thank you for the all the years of sharing your experience. I humble you, sir. -John G.
wow, it's like trying to unbake an amazing cake pulling it down to it's individual ingredients
Galeazzo is a real talent
i am glad you are still making videos, when i discovered your work a couple of weeks ago, i was sad, because i thought you had retired from this activty.
Oh my God - this is fantastic. The perfect combination of a tutorial and a "reaction video".
I love that you made this! I struggle so hard to pick out the parts of 3-part harmonies
would love to see and MRI of your brain activity as you listen and pick all that apart!! My goodness!
My God, what a great job, and what a difficult job, it takes a lot of time to achieve all of this, and we're talking about videos from 10 years ago. Maybe nowadays with AI you can isolate voices much easier. So it's a lot of work and congratulations on everything!!!! I've always loved your videos.
This reminds me of me figuring out chord structures. A lot of relistening to figure it out.
I still find it amazing how you can pick out the individual by voices. Does it get easier over time?
yessss
Wow your method is crazy!! I do it very differently, I start with the most 'obvious' voice and then build up over each one. Very interesting to see behind your ear and mind!
It would be great to have a companion video of the same thing but showing the screen with a second video in a box showing your left hand.
Amazing! Thanks for sharing your talents with us.
The work you put into this is is Amazing! One of my favorite songs ever!
Solid breakdown, great job
Great lesson GF Imagine the opening chord of a Hard Day's Night sang by those people. Certain parts I can hear that chord
The time you put into this Amazing!
This is such a great insight how to work out multiple vocal harmonies many thanks 👍
Excellent post...Demonstrates great patience and tenacity on your part to deconstruct this music. Cheers! 🥃🎶😎
I've wanted this kind of video for years! Thank you so much!
This is like a masterclass in vocal harmony.
Very complicated, my head spining now 😢😢😢
Both fascinating and impressive. I wish I were able to distinguish notes like this. I've tried over the years but not successfully.
By the way, I looked up a couple of terms used:
Glissato (usually(?) glissando in English) = A rapid slide through a series of consecutive tones in a scalelike passage.
Portamento = A smooth uninterrupted glide in passing from one tone to another, especially with the voice or a bowed stringed instrument.
I have a hard time doing that, which is why I watch you. :)
La nostra band esiste solo grazie a te! Fat four da Torino
Bravi!
I love this so much. And I love the opportunity to try to learn it along with you.
I tried to write out this harmony added to the lead sheet melody and was totally lost
Great to watch you working it out
you take commissions to do harmony breakdowns of songs?
Exactly
@@TheBeatlesVocalHarmony how much?
@@davidtyler2012 It depends on the difficulty and length of the harmony
Your ear is absolutely amazing!
Wow, very nice.
Hey Galeazzo, would you mind breaking down the harmonies for The Analogues version of Eleanor Rigby?
😎✨👍 *Awesome talent*
Very inspiring! Thank YOU Galeazzo!
Such talent
Was expecting the recorded complete result...
I'm so curious about the software you are using....
What program do you use. I use Transcribe.
