Your attention to detail is remarkable and much appreciated: The quality of his (shall we say, hoarse?) voice during the opening bars of the song might seem a frivolous touch on Paul's end ...and yet not at all irrelevant: As it is effectively sets the opening of the song within that mood of boredom and resignation which you aptly describe.

It's really interesting to follow Danny Laine's harmonies and the continuous line changes since none of the three parts is a simple and linear harmony and sometimes main becomes low 5th and some octave changes: sometimes Danny gets higher than Linda, like in this song and in Bluebird for example. Btw, congrats, great work both you and Raffaella

Wonderful video. I was hoping there was some kind of vocal trick for that high C (“HOPE YOU’RE HAVING fun”). But it seems that I just don’t have the range to hit it. Are there exercises to increase range, or are we stuck with what we can reach?
