    That is really cool.. Don't think I have ever seen a small single rotor for that price fly that smooth. Sure beats most small indoor helicopters I have seen. Good one!!

    I recently got the Blade 70s, the E-Flite rebrand of this, and I love it. Manages to be even more fun than the Syma S107G I had. This little bugger is begging to be let into a larger space, but it gets blown around by the slightest of wind.

    Man that's cool. A tiny CP heli that is stable enough to fly indoors. I've been out of the hobby for a while and there was nothing like this from what I remember.

    • @theimacman

      This isn't CP though... it's FP. There are similar CP helis though, like the Blade Nano CP S. :)

    what perfect timing Ryan. I've been feeling for a easy flying indoor helicopter. this may be it ! many thanks for all of your honest and thorough reviews ! ::)

    • @theimacman
      @theimacman  7 років тому

      If you have no heli experience yet, you may still want to start with a 3ch coaxial, which I know you were recently looking for. While this heli is relatively easy to fly, it's still not super easy and it can get out of control quickly if you aren't careful.

    • @theimacman
      @theimacman  7 років тому

      If you can fly a quad well, you should be able to do alright with a helicopter with 6-axis stabilization, like this one. They aren't as inherently stable as quads though, so they are a bit harder to fly.

    Thumbs up. Is this one more precise than the Blade Nano CP S? I watched your other video with the Blade Nano CP S, which you had yet to "train" yourself to control the yaw.

    • @theimacman
      @theimacman  7 років тому +1

      I think you're talking about my CP X video. The CP S added 6-axis stabilization and is much easier to fly than the CP X. It is similar to flying this 150X, but the difference between CP and FP does make a bit of a difference in the throttle responsiveness.

    hi Flyin Ryan,
    I was wondering if you have received the new Cheerson CX60 fighting quad? I saw listing on Gearbest but no release date. Can't wait for your review when and if you get them.
    Thanks from a fan.

    • @theimacman
      @theimacman  7 років тому

      I had not heard of that one... looks interesting! I'm sure I'll get my hands on one to review at some point, but I generally have to wait until it's released to the public, just like anyone else. I also won't be able to show off the "fighting" ability, as I do not have a friend that can fly and film with me. :(

    Do you think I should use my alias drone as an fpv flier or should I get an inductrix and convert it into a tiny whoop?

    • @theimacman
      @theimacman  7 років тому

      Or just get the Inductrix FPV and not mess with converting anything. :) The Alias probably wouldn't make for a very good FPV flyer because of the large gear-driven props and how that makes the quad handle.

    when you stop giving forward input does it stop and hover or continue to go forward until you manually correct it?

    • @theimacman
      @theimacman  6 років тому

      Yes, it will stop. It’s not an immediate stop, but since the helicopter has 6-axis stabilization, when you stop giving inputs, it will return to a level position. It won’t hover perfectly in place, but it should maintain its position fairly well. You still have to control elevation with the throttle though.

    • @fnkycoldmedina
      @fnkycoldmedina 6 років тому

      i had the blade msr-x and that little guy was a nightmare for me .i prefer a flybar heli or one that acts like one

    • @theimacman
      @theimacman  6 років тому

      Yeah, the mSR X only had a 3-axis gyro, not 6-axis stabilization, so you have to be a pretty experienced pilot to fly it well. A heli with 6-axis stabilization is a lot more like a heli with a flybar, but even better.

    I just got one and when it arrived I plugged the battery in and the blades started to spin but then I smelled something like pvc cement and the battery was smoking and I took the battery out and looked at the bottom of the helicopter and there was a melted section of plastic when I plugged it in it should not have started spinning what do you recommend I do?

    • @theimacman
      @theimacman  7 років тому

      Did you maybe plug the battery in upside down, thus reversing polarity? Sounds like you fried the electronics. That could be a hard fix. You might try contacting the seller about getting a replacement.

    • @zaneortman2978
      @zaneortman2978 7 років тому

      Nah, I've had several that were good in the wind. I think it's the flybar that hurts them in the wind... but FP flybarless can handle wind just fine as long as they have the pitch, power, and board programming for it.
