- I was up in Orlando for a few days on a work related trip and I just had to get out and try to catch some new species. First stop was a little park where I knew a few species I've never caught before existed. Unfortunately I had to go through some largemouths and bluegills to get two seminole killifish which was a new species for me. I was disappointed that I didn't get any of the cichlid species I can looking for. Then on my way back to the car I found a second body or water and within two minutes I caught my second new species of the day, the dimerus cichlid. Two new species for my lifelist always makes for a successful day.

Thanks. You too.
Those Fish I mentioned behind the Childrens place might have been cichlids with the blue metallic fins.
Where in Orlando are these cichlids?
Very interesting thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching.
Shallow creeks are best to avoid catching unwanted bass and bream.
I may have to go find this pond.

Thank you.
Well then bring it to Miami it'll live better
Miami has the black acara. Very closely related.
