It's reverse of what it needs to be to make your eye look bigger as she did it for the bottom of the eye. The eye liner need not go to the upper inner eye or bottom inner eye, as this actually narrows the eye, making it smaller as she did. To give the illusion of a bigger eye- use eye liner halfway beginning in the middle of upper eye lid and go back toward the direction of temple. Do same for bottom of eye or just use mascara on lower lashes and no eye liner. You'll be amazed!!

You can make your eyes bigger without lenses, and these probably aren't bigger than 14.5

@alicjaswiechowicz 14.0 lenses usually provide slight enlargement, 14.5 is the biggest you can go without it being unnatural.
Chinese makeup techniques such as drawing a fake lower lash line, and a wocan (also known as aegyosal) can make the eyes bigger. Manhua lashes can make the eyes look wider, and lashes and both below and above aswell. Sometimes you place them on the fake lower lashline.

CAUTION ⚠️⚠️⚠️: everyone even though this is a great technique, remember, whenever you are putting on eye makeup always AVOID putting it on or in waterline (your waterline is between the base of your lash line and your cornea). This can clog the oil glands that produces oil for your eyes to stay healthy, especially for sensitive eyes!!! Hope this was helpful ❤
I have always put liner on my water. I would suggest a quality liner. Waterproof and quick drying. The liners that work well are a little on the expensive side. A good product is Thrive. Gotta order it but it is good. Since using it I can't find another 😢 liner that comes close to it. 😮Doesn't run into the eye. Put it on it's dry. Please get a good product.

You don't need to warn people about this, it's incredibly rare that this would happen and pretty much only happens if you don't ever take your makeup off.

Yeah, I used to line the waterline but after having the second sty removed I decided to stop and had no more sty's after that. The look really wasn’t worth having a needle and scalpel near my eye.

Not going to lie I used to be the exact same until I did eye makeup more. Once I got in there and started having to touch my eye or waterline every now and then to remove a piece of glitter or whatever the case, it got a lotttt easier

You also need to wear circle lenses and eyelid tape.
My eyeliners always get smudged if i use it on waterline and i’ll look like a ghost after that.

Sorry, no offence, but Idk why people ask about stuff like that while… upper and lower part is done with a regular eye pencil that u can twist out - also MUA used a flat brush. Eyeliner is just one with sharp precise end - here, I’m assuming, ,,marker eyeliner, it looked like it, anyway u can see it has to be pointed… BUT even if u buy the same cosmetics as the MUA used - it will not make the job done for you. I understand if a product being used is kinda special, hard to be replace, Color of lipstick…but here? come on…🙃
Anyway is it me or this makeup look weird or unfinished? I love so called weird makeups, but if the idea was ,,normal” looking but with big eyes effect - I see the eye with weird shape… 🤔 if they would at least have shown the whole face with the finished eyes we would know how it looks like for real…

@@VLVN92I guess, in my case, I asked myself what kind of eyeliner she used because I would have never thought she was just using that twist out pencil. She makes it look so easy! I could never draw such precise traits simply using that kind of pencil.
Also, BTW, I don't think that's a complete eye makeup look, it's just a technique to make eyes look bigger for you to integrate to your make up look/routine.
Im not sure which she used, but the Milani Stay Put Eyeliner is very good. I use it for my eyebrows and eyes, and it doesn't budge

Firstly, lining the water line instead of above it makes the eye look smaller. Just like lips, slightly over line the eye.

Tightlining makes the base of your upper lashes look thicker! It doesn't close your eyes off like tightlining your lower waterline does.
This is true. If you want your eyes to look bigger, don’t use a dark pencil on a water line, use a white pencil. Then use the dark one around it.

Good thing the tears & oil push it right back out the glands lol. Not really too big an issue unless you’re habitual, rough, and refuse to wash up after
Perhaps to a point it gets pushed back out. But most eyeliner is full of toxic ingredients, and the mucous membranes of the eye will absorb more into the bloodstream than even normal areas of the skin. For myself, I will pass! @@kuritheking
