LOVE my Horizon! I have had it since March, have taken it on 4 trips so far and we have used it as a guest space at our house and then most recently, we had a bad storm knock out our power all night so we slept in the camper where we could run the fan & lights, charge our phones and my husband could shower.
Yes that was irritating as hell and I stopped watching it for that reason. I wonder why people feel the need to f-up their vids in some way.. loud music, people acting like they are mentally challenged.. just demo the product, that's why we watch.
Flashing light, that's a new one. Ruined the video for me, just like playing music, change of scene swishing noise, etc. I so appreciate when I find videos that just give some information, otherwise I just go to another channel, soon as the annoying stuff starts. I will never like or subscribe.
Nice job! Y’all need to hurry up and add 4 solar roof panels, all electric options and lithium batteries. Make sure it’s 4 season with battery warmers. I’ve been following folks testing this setup and their consistently seeing 85% charge in the mornings.
Agreed for off grid ready. Do they off that as an option? Not sure I understand if there is 12V fan or not. Cuz if you can't get AC cooling without plugging in that's not great. Also wish they had a flip down kitchen counter extension like many Vanlife builds I see.
We are so happy with our Sol Horizon! Don’t want a slide out because it is plenty of room. The rear storage is definitely big enough. The oversized A/C cools very fast.
I had a Honda Ridgeline to pull mine. It is rated for 5500 lbs. A common mistake people make is thinking since it’s rated for 5500 that’s what you can take it to. WRONG! Once you start adding things like water and camping equipment plus passengers you quickly can exceed towing capacity. Sure my Honda would pull it, but you could tell it put a strain on the drivetrain. I moved up to Toyota Tundra and it was a massive improvement. PS: nice vid
Oh wow I love this! It's built on an aluminum frame, its the perfect size, very nicely appointed, glorious windshield, great lighting,ample amenities and creative storage. Ugh, and the hue of blue in the cubbies is awesome! Also, I appreciate how in tune to the customer this brand is. It's almost like they went out and talked to real people who really use and/or live in RV's, listened to what their likes, dislikes and wishes were and then built the perfect trailer! 👍
@@robertkerner6351 You're right, Robert. After seeing so much of the blue lighting in and on several trailers/RV's, I too would opt for a much more calm & soft accent light. The manufacturers definitely over saturated the market with the blue hue.

Small RVs are GREAT to start, we pulled ours with an SUV. Start small, start where you can, but get started so you can start building memories. My fist RV was a 17' bunkhouse. I traveled with my wife and THREE kids. When you travel, you spend time OUTSIDE, so if you look at your RV as just a place to sleep and make food, you don't need as much room as you think. However... however... I had a vacation where it rained and rained... another where an arctic blast came through in May so we had to spend more time inside the RV than we wanted and it really put a damper on the vacation. We upgraded to a 33 foot RV and couldn't be happier. It really depends on how much time you think you will be spending inside.
I ADORE my Sol Horizon!!!!! Did tons and tons of research and was floored when I found this one. Had my dealer order it from the factory. I spend several months at a time in mine and work from here too! I was a contractor for 16 years and have owned other RV's, so I have to tell you how impressed I am with the construction of this little trailer. I will NEVER own any other RV product that's not an IntechRV product. My next purchase will be a Terra Oasis... Just giving it a model year or 2 before I buy up. #MyGypsySol

WE have a 2019 Sol Horizon. It is dream to tow with our Highlander. There is more than enough storage for the two of us and dog food for three dogs. We love the option of the outside kitchen which keeps cooking odors out of the living space.
Nice Review Izzy! I would love to see InTech build a few shorter fifth wheels, 25/27/ and 29 feet total length. Love their attention to detail. Would love to see more companies build a high quality short fifth wheel for taking off-road, national and state parks, boondocking, etc. I myself and others would love to have viable smaller rig options in a fifth wheel style. There is a definite market for smaller quality built, adventure style, modestly sized rigs that offer the tow ability of a fifth wheel, with all the advantages of the better pivot point and headroom a fifth wheel style trailer brings to the party.
I have been RVing for 50 years. In that time I've owned way too much NEW JUNK!! Our favorite saying was "how much lipstick can they put on the pig to sell it". I don't want to go too deep on that, but what I like about the In Tech is the apparent quality, and attention to detail! Aluminum frame, not 2X2 pine! It looks assembled well, w/craftsmanship, a rare quality. Of course time will tell, but first impression is very good! I was looking at things most people weren't. LOL IMHO, well worth a second look! Good job guys! 1 suggestion.. I would like to see a duel wheel option (on 1 axle), Where a flat on 1 tire would not stop you where you are. I converted both axles to duels on a 5th wheel we had. Sweet…so nicely done; checks all the necessary boxes. Especially like the full scaled front window, larger elevated fridge, the galley sink depth, the wet bath combo and the designated rear queen bed setup. The only thing I’d be tempted to change would be that nice, maybe breakable, range cover as that space could also be used for prepping or dish drying spot. I’d forego the outside cook area in lieu of my Coleman stove. The pass through storage would be most beneficial. I’m anxious to check their website for pricing along with any additional details. We own a 2021 sol rover - love it, no complaints, easy to tow, shower is fantastic with great water pressure. Recommend adding back up camera and sway/stabilize bars for safety when traveling.
The unit looks great! It is good that you have the gray/ black water dump valve located up high but it would be a good option to have a metal cage around it just in case someone goes back in the woods. A busted dump valve would be a bummer.
Some great features, but it definitely needs lithium option, solar, and a 12V compressor fridge in the trailer. I haven't been in one yet, but it looks like the hallway into the bed is pretty tight. I wonder how difficult it is to climb out of bed, especially when you are the one next to the window.
It’s called “camping” hence deal with it. The minor inconvenience of getting out of bed - let the wee hour potty breaker sleep on the outer side. 🤷🏻♀️
I agree. There is an awful lot of talking in the video. Lay down on the bed and show everyone how long it is. We are in 2021/2022 now. There is no need for stereo systems, and TV's if you have a tablet and bluetooth speakers. I would like to see Alexa or Google controls for most of the manual buttons on the unit. They should also have an interface for a solar panel on it. I would really like to hear how it tows with a 6 cylinder vehicle -- does it sway or does it pull hard etc.
We bought a 2024 Sol Horizon. Haven't got it out camping yet. I upgraded it with Solar, 300AH lithium battery and 3000 watt inverter. Can't wait for spring. BTW we did get a weight dist hitch and it tows like a dream behind our 4Runner.
I have been watching them for couple years. Each year they make better and better RV trailers! Intech will be my first choice for RV trailer ...for the things they put in, quality and design, this is fairly priced.
I am currently researching campers that are towable behind a midsize pickup, this looks really nice. Good information clearly given, but the yellow flashing transitions are annoying.
These things are built tough. But at close to $40,000 for one of these with no standard solar, no 12 volt fridge and no frame less windows it just leaves you asking for more. It's definitely great to be able to go almost anywhere though.
What a well thought out design. Cab forward, elevated fridge, just to name a few. If we ever needed to downsize from our 29’ TT this intek might have to be considered.
The Intec Sol Horizon seems like the perfect size and has all the features we are looking for in a camper. We have a 4Runner with a 4700# tow capacity and it is just right for a Sol Horizon. We just saw one for the first time and are sold on buying one. We may pull the trigger in January 2024 so we can have one for the summer. Hopefully the supply chain issues will be somewhat sorted out by then...
Yes, we have a 2024 Horizon. We just went on a 3 week 4800 mile trip from the Midwest to Utah, Arizona and Colorado. Everything went well. @@matt.s.miller

Look very good, I like the fact the frame is aluminium welded. One improvement they can make is putting electric door lock for all the door, no key so robber have it harder and with one control everything is locked. I look forward to see the model with solar panel, I prefer everything el;;ectric than having gas, batteries and fuel.
Nice looking camper. One con for me would be the width. I followed one of these last weekend and, it took the entire landline to line. Off road this would be handy. I drive professionally. It would be fairly comfortable on the interstate, but if you're traveling the narrow twisting mountain roads it is really tight. I would prefer the wheels inset rather than on the outside. Good looking camper though.

Love your videos - follower for 2 years. Hating the constant flashes of yellow- orange transitions. Surely others are irritated by so many - lucky I don’t get migraines. Moving forward- we saw a very cute little new goose neck camper recently but didnt catch the make. Can you do a review? We are horse LQ people who may transition to a small camper. TYIA
I did a factory tour two years ago they used a wood composite floor then and no azdel and no grey tank and way too expensive.I have viewed other UA-cam owner indicate they had axle issues. I opted for a dual axle Winnebago micro mini had more options and the dual axle sold me.
Camping neighbors had one of these when I was at Ohiopyle state park this summer. It's. Very cool camper. I really want a teardrop camper next time. I see you make one styled like this.
I really enjoyed this an am going to seriously check out this unit. However, I would like to request than rather than tell us the dry weight of units, please tell us the GWVR ... and the actual cargo capacity. Dry weight is useless. What counts is how much it weighs when we pull it .... this is especially important for newbies as they fixate on the dry weight as being what their vehicle can safely tow. (also ... something is either unique or it is not :-) )

Looks like a nice camper but why put the bed in the back? That's usually the nicer view. If you'd have the bed in the front and the u shaped dinette in the back it would be perfect!
Yes smaller RVs are better. I got a 900 pound trailer that has everything you need for two people. The benefits is it's so easy to pick up a move and explore the world. My next trailer I want 4000 or less to bring up to 5. Never want to go any bigger. The idea is your outside most of the time. Trailer is only for rainy days
Do you have any options other than that dinette or that queen bed? It would be nice if some company out there just gave a few options instead of having to buy everything as is. Even a color choice somewhere would be great. It's like big brother knows what's best for you and you'll like it and pay alot for it too.
It's about time a company listened to customers wants and needs. Excellent model! Well done. My only want would be a compostable toilet and more water than shit. I never can understand why anyone would want to deal with that when a compostable toilet is so perfect. Well, particularly for plant based folks. People who eat a lot of meat have stinkier turds for sure. But even then, those folks seems fine with a good compostable with a fan. I've taken the toilet out of my fifth wheel and put in a DIY compostable - I've used one of those in an attic apartment that had no bathroom and a garage before and no one knew....:). Would love this model!

Linda, the glass is treated or tempered. Lots of rvs & some houses use glass for a prep area. It keeps people away from using the countertops! Enjoy!

Amazing trailer! I've owned Casitas, Scamps, Perris Pacers and Boler trailers through the years and this one breaks them all hands down!

I love this little RV, but it would be nice if they made a larger more functional bathroom and a bunkhouse version.

We bought a 2024 Sol Horizon. Haven't got it out camping yet. I upgraded it with Solar, 300AH lithium battery and 3000 watt inverter. Can't wait for spring. BTW we did get a weight dist hitch and it tows like a dream behind our 4Runner.

I have been watching them for couple years. Each year they make better and better RV trailers! Intech will be my first choice for RV trailer ...for the things they put in, quality and design, this is fairly priced.

I am currently researching campers that are towable behind a midsize pickup, this looks really nice. Good information clearly given, but the yellow flashing transitions are annoying.

These things are built tough. But at close to $40,000 for one of these with no standard solar, no 12 volt fridge and no frame less windows it just leaves you asking for more. It's definitely great to be able to go almost anywhere though.
It refrigerator is a 3 way. Propane, 12v or shore power did you watch the video? It is wired for solar directly to battery.
What a well thought out design. Cab forward, elevated fridge, just to name a few. If we ever needed to downsize from our 29’ TT this intek might have to be considered.
The Intec Sol Horizon seems like the perfect size and has all the features we are looking for in a camper. We have a 4Runner with a 4700# tow capacity and it is just right for a Sol Horizon. We just saw one for the first time and are sold on buying one. We may pull the trigger in January 2024 so we can have one for the summer. Hopefully the supply chain issues will be somewhat sorted out by then...

Yes, we have a 2024 Horizon. We just went on a 3 week 4800 mile trip from the Midwest to Utah, Arizona and Colorado. Everything went well. @@matt.s.miller

Look very good, I like the fact the frame is aluminium welded. One improvement they can make is putting electric door lock for all the door, no key so robber have it harder and with one control everything is locked. I look forward to see the model with solar panel, I prefer everything el;;ectric than having gas, batteries and fuel.

Nice looking camper. One con for me would be the width. I followed one of these last weekend and, it took the entire landline to line. Off road this would be handy. I drive professionally. It would be fairly comfortable on the interstate, but if you're traveling the narrow twisting mountain roads it is really tight. I would prefer the wheels inset rather than on the outside. Good looking camper though.

I did a factory tour two years ago they used a wood composite floor then and no azdel and no grey tank and way too expensive.I have viewed other UA-cam owner indicate they had axle issues. I opted for a dual axle Winnebago micro mini had more options and the dual axle sold me.
Camping neighbors had one of these when I was at Ohiopyle state park this summer. It's. Very cool camper. I really want a teardrop camper next time. I see you make one styled like this.

I really enjoyed this an am going to seriously check out this unit. However, I would like to request than rather than tell us the dry weight of units, please tell us the GWVR ... and the actual cargo capacity. Dry weight is useless. What counts is how much it weighs when we pull it .... this is especially important for newbies as they fixate on the dry weight as being what their vehicle can safely tow. (also ... something is either unique or it is not :-) )

Msrp is changing weekly as cost of units keep changing. That is why we did not include the price
@@EndlessRVing I just was looking for a base price, checked Toms Camperland in Mesa, no price, checked Intech website, no price - I understand changing prices and so many options to choose from but a base price is something everyone should list because I am just doing research & have no plans to buy one , at least not now. At the end of the vid if he would have said , this unit as equipped sells for around ( state sale price ) . Very nice vid and nice unit.

I understand that if I came in and ordered one to be built then yes I wouldn’t know that price until I place that order. We are talking about I it’s for sale on a lot right now. Looks like a nice camper but why put the bed in the back? That's usually the nicer view. If you'd have the bed in the front and the u shaped dinette in the back it would be perfect!

Yes smaller RVs are better. I got a 900 pound trailer that has everything you need for two people. The benefits is it's so easy to pick up a move and explore the world. My next trailer I want 4000 or less to bring up to 5. Never want to go any bigger. The idea is your outside most of the time. Trailer is only for rainy days

Do you have any options other than that dinette or that queen bed? It would be nice if some company out there just gave a few options instead of having to buy everything as is. Even a color choice somewhere would be great. It's like big brother knows what's best for you and you'll like it and pay alot for it too.

It's about time a company listened to customers wants and needs. Excellent model! Well done. My only want would be a compostable toilet and more water than shit. I never can understand why anyone would want to deal with that when a compostable toilet is so perfect. Well, particularly for plant based folks. People who eat a lot of meat have stinkier turds for sure. But even then, those folks seems fine with a good compostable with a fan. I've taken the toilet out of my fifth wheel and put in a DIY compostable - I've used one of those in an attic apartment that had no bathroom and a garage before and no one knew....:). Would love this model!

I really enjoyed this video and the interior of the trailer. The front window from the camera view looks like a giant television. I do have one negative comment to make, a DVD player? This might be good in 2005. Upgrade that to a Blue-Ray player.
