Since I got my Macbook Pro I have not had to run any heavy engineering programs since my classes don't require them. But, as an undergrad a bunch of my friends had Macbook Pro's / Air's and they got through college perfectly fine. Most colleges have computer labs with all the software you would need to use already installed on them. These softwares are extremely expensive as well so I found that 95% of the time I would use the University computers for my engineering needs (code, SolidWorks, simulations, etc.) If this is the same case for where ever you go to study, and you only plan on using your laptop for school, then I would actually recommend the M2 Macbook Air! It is almost as powerful as the MBP I have and it's more compact and cheaper! will be amazing for you, especially if you pair it with an iPad for all of your handwritten notes and homeworks! :)
@@NathanLemoine Thank you so much! My university has a engineering computer lab, so I decided to get the MBP M1 and paired it with an iPad Pro. Thank you so much for helping me!
Alfredo you are 1000% right I could have allocated more money into a monitor. This has been just a culmination of desk products that I have accumulated over the years, whether as gifts from family or my own investments. I think in its current state it looks aesthetically pleasing and its a simple and small setup, but I am currently looking for a monitor soon to give me more screen real estate while video editing.I felt especially as a college student this would be an easy setup to get back from class, place your laptop on the stand and start homework without having to plug it in and out of a monitor every time.
Haha no, I was using a new Micro Lens I just got for that shot and that's a small piece of dust on the lens😅 Since it's so zoomed in, any little speck will show
Thank you so much for the kind words. Comments like these keep me going and motivated to push through even when videos "flop". I love seeing others enjoy my content! Hope you're here for the journey because we're just getting started! :)

Hi Nathan, how was your experience with the Macbook Pro as an engineering student?

I'm curious if you purposefully made it monitor due to space? Otherwise I feel money could have been distributed for a monitor.
