- When Monster In-Law Khalood last met with Dr. Phil she said that her daughter, Fallon, had become just as lazy and disrespectful as her son-in-law, Steve -- and she wanted them to move out of her house. Khalood invited Dr. Phil to her home to prove that she’s not the crazy person she says everyone makes her out to be, and he quipped, “If they gave me a choice and said, ‘You can go spend 24 hours in that home, or you can get in a phone booth with an alligator and sandpaper its ass,’ I’d be in the phone booth.” Now, in a surprise twist, Dr. Phil takes Khalood up on her offer and travels to her home to get a firsthand look at what’s going on behind closed doors. The daughter is just as bad as the mother. The couple of times I had to live with my mom as an adult, it was never more than 90 days. When I did stay, I paid all her bills, I cooked 5 nights a week, and I did a deep clean of her entire house. I also painted 4 rooms, mowed the lawn, trimmed trees etc.
Can you please come stay at my house?? 😂

My son, D-I-L & children have stayed about 18 months twice at our home. The only person I was angry with was our son because he never helped or put money towards bills. We worked full-time jobs and were happy when our D-I-L cooked a meal, vacuumed floors, washed etc. When things improved for them it was the D-I-L who thanked us & offered money. Her & the children's help was payment.
The other son & wife stayed for just over six months & they were a dream.
Her voice is enough to drive anyone crazy!
Mom wants to avoid her husband and the kids are the answer.
It’s clear that the wife has no relationship with her husband. She’s making her kids her life. She doesn’t even want to try to build a relationship with her husband. Her kids are her identity. She needs to get some hobbies and go to marriage counseling.
AS well as the kids are a barrier from her hubby! They stand between her and the hub like a brick wall! So she "needs them there", for herself! Pretty sad.

Write up eviction notices & have them notarized them. & Present them to you children! After 30 days call the Sheriff!
That would only work if the MOM wants them out. She doesn't.
An order of eviction has to come from the court. First you provide the required notice and THEN go to court for a writ of eviction. You can’t just give them notice then call the sheriff. Sheriff can only deal with it when there is a court order

I didn’t hear the first part but a minute or two into it I had enough! That woman chatters nonstop. Even when others are talking. Too many dogs is a wrong choice. Mom is controlling and keeps sabotaging every suggestion.

Sad thing is, just as mom had said, "if they're gone, what will I have to do to be a mom?" This woman needs to get her OWN life. Take some classes, join a book club, meet and become friends with neighbors,take painting lessons,learn yoga. As Phil said, she cannot live without the drama. I almost feel sorry for her, but she's waaay too annoying to actually feel that way!
Women like this, who are the leader in their little world and has never worked, are a nightmare to the rest of us when we come in contact with them out in society. No one has ever told them the truth and that they’re crazy.

The excuse of not learning something as a child pisses me off so much because even as an adult you can still learn how to do something. Plus this is 2024, there is no excuse where you can't simply Google or UA-cam something and learn how to do it even a child can do this. There are children that literally UA-cam how to clean up milk messes or how to mop or how to vacuum, there is literally no excuse for that garbage.
the co-dependency under that roof between young to old and old to young is off the charts. ridiculous relationships and household chaos is their norm and that's not normal. there's no actual respect among any of them. the kids really need to get real and grow up and control freak chaos addicted mom needs to let them. that's not a home, that's a nuthouse.

I had to watch my beautiful Mom, rescue my sisters children( who I love them,,, twins) it stole my moms whole retirement and her health. Because my sister refused to take care of her children. Ever. She got the twins raised, but at a great cost. Her health, her mental state, she died too young,,, please take back your home. 😢
I raised my son to be a sucessful adult. Childhood only lasts a moment and you HAVE to instill core values and life skills early.
Being a good parent means trusting that they are tougher and more capable than you think. I sure miss when he was little but its a joy to watch him succeed in life 😊❤

Allowing dogs to hang around the meal table scrounging is bad enough. Letting them on the table and eating off plates is just plain dirty, disgusting and unhygienic. Had house dogs all my life and not once have they been allowed to eat off human plates even on the floor.

I have dogs that are not allowed around the kitchen or dining room when people food is being prepared or served, they don't feel less loved. Having a dog pee in your house is just plain lazy on the owners part. Dogs don't want to pee where they sleep. Eww.

Realtor of 32 years here. All townhomes I know of have weight and count restrictions for pets. Some don't allow them at all.
Pretty easy fix, JUST HAVE THEM EVICTED THROUGH THE COURTS!!!!! Done and done! Or to save the mother daughter relationship, just have him evicted and she can either go with him or stay 🤦♂️🤷♂️

My son is 22 and he lives in my basement. He pays me rent but I pay him for helping me. He can choose to help or not. He gets paid/hour so it's 100% up to him how much money he earns.

Why cant the kids stay there, pay rent/portion of utilities, food, etc. to teach them how to budget, then mover out. I could never do "anything right" in my mothers eyes. I struggle now at household management. I worked my whole life while being married, going to nursing school, raising a child (and husband) I wasnt the best housekeeper, but I provided for my family. I am retiring in 6 days and I will finally be a "home maker" lets see how THAT goes. LOL
Mom I left home when I was 17 the best decision ever I met the man who became my husband and we went travelling together and eventually married and bought a home.

Townhouse doesn’t allow dogs? How about the dogs stay with mom and the kids move out? Figure it out. Sell the townhouse and buy one that does allow pets. Clearly those adult children don’t want to leave if they haven’t already left after her mother sold off all their stuff. The daughter doesn’t want to leave because she doesn’t want to do all the things that her mother does around the house.

If she BOUGHT them a townhouse, how come the dogs cant go there? Shouldn't they have say if they own the place? It's probably the mom not allowing the dogs to leave as a way to keep the kids there.
Sometimes a city or county mandates how many animals you can have even if you own the property.
