"I SAID ALONG THE 101 STUART"!
Kenan's Cali-speak is right on. Dudes so talented. He even plays in my church basketball league in Temecula. Dude can ball. If his crossover doesn't waste you, he'll just step back and splash the trey in your face.
Bill hader is my favorite part of these and the only part that really makes me laugh
Ratkie Graves He’s the best, I like Kristen too though but he really makes the entire series lol
@@darklyclad same, but I miss Kristen
Virtually every single syllable makes me howl. Maybe because I'm English and finally, some Americans have admitted that the bizarre accent I keep hearing in films and TV shows is as hysterically funny as I thought it was.
Fred Armisen is my favorite part. I miss Hader and Armisen. They both had so much character!
The amount of driving we do in California is the most accurate thing about living here.

"GOOGLE MAPS GIVES YOU TRAFFIC UPDATES STUAAARRTT!!"
Say what you want about Beeb but that hand-held mirror shot was hilarious.
Ikr?
These are weirdly addictive :)
That's how soaps draw you in.
Right up there with sharknado you know it’s silly but watch it anyway hysterical
As an ex-Californian born and raised I find these skits highly nostalgic
love how half the comments are actual Californians saying how accurate this sketch is (as a Californian myself, I agree that they are)
Why is everybody so obsessed with interstates and traffic, and giving directions ?Bill Hader and Fred Armisen both said when they would visit California when not shooting SNL,thats all the locals would talk about , ..that's funny ,...weird, but funny
@@chriswoosley3883 don't worry about it. Why don't you just get on the 405 and get outta here
whats the appeal of talking about highways?someone help me understand
Chris Woosley Southern California is kinda known for its highway traffic and since there’s so many highways too, a lot of us speak only on highway names which are usually just numbers (hence the “get on the 405” dialogue). it’s just supposed to be a funny thing they’re making fun of since so many of us actually give directions through highway names. hope this helped!
@@mollie-a with GPS today ,Why still discuss it
I used to live in SoCal and it’s weird how I’d picture all the streets they’d mention 😂😂
Come baaaaack 🙏🙏
Just visited. I think we took the 101 to the 110 north, took the 4th street 6 street exit, , stay in the middle lane, exit 4th street, left on Olive.
@@TQfabulous ah, you were in downtown L.A. :)
Los Angeles is so different now.. unlivable and overrun...These were the days...
Northern California may not have the same accent, but I can confirm we have the same incessant conversations about where things are relative to other things and how to move from one place to another as efficiently as possible.
Especially when you're in an Uber, Lyft or God forbid- taxi 😲
One thing we don’t do however is preface highway numbers with “the.”
b r e a d No one in SoCal has this accent. They pulled this sub-set Valley-girl/Surfer-dude accent back from the 1980's for effect.
Very cool
