Kate’s mum saying “weird got you here” honestly made me tear up a little. Also I like that all the other clips were all like standard theatre kid shit and then Jay’s was just “arrrrrrrrrh”.
And Kenan's was just a clip from a movie (since Kenan was a child star before being hired to SNL) and Pete's was just a typical "taping your child as a baby/toddler so you can look back at how cute they were" video. In my family, we have pictures for that, since home movies would always end up being used to tape TV shows (I'm old enough to remember when VCRs were prevalent).

It’s funny that Betty White never had children but instead sort of became, “America’s Grandma”. I read an article awhile back where a reporter asked her (in a respectful way) why she never had children. It was a combination of factors but basically:
A) Her animals are her babies
B) The love of her life, her husband Allen who died 39 years ago (she never remarried & didn’t want to) already had kids so she did help raise her step-children though they were older/teens.
C) *And I think this was the main reason* She’s a career woman & actress at heart. She said her career was too important to her & especially back then, women were pretty much expected to give up their jobs if not when they got married then definitely once they had children. Her career in show biz was precious to her & she didn’t want to lose it. As great of a mom as I’m sure she would’ve been, as a fan I’m glad she stayed in the spotlight. 💙👏🏻💙👏🏻😉

Its crazy how much the majority of the cast look so much like their mothers. I mean, sure, a lot of people have some of their parent's traits, but some of the cast's resemblance is uncanny!

She was such a babe back in the day but she always was so humble. One great woman that did so much for others as well. Rest peacefully sweet Betty.

all the kids born in more recent years will struggle greatly when they are older for now their every move is captured in pictures and videos, uploaded on the net. they will never get to live down anything.
My dad was an amateur photographer and took an absurd amount of video and pictures throughout my childhood (back when it was a lot more effort, lol) and I absolutely love having all those memories. I never understood being embarrassed by stuff from your childhood, like maybe when I was 13 I was embarrassed about something from when I was 11, but now anything that may have been embarrassing is just funny and cute.
Benzaiten - That's assuming we are all still alive next year. I'm not that optimistic. It's hard to laugh.
Conversely, when every one of their peers also has their entire history on display, none of it will matter.

@@jlgunn922 that's a good point! I was responding more to the mindset of the show thinking it was embarrassing to show old videos of the cast, but yeah, that would be unfortunate. I definitely don't have the kind of family who would air purposely embarrassing/negative shit on social media as it was happening though, so it wouldn't cross my mind that my mom's Facebook page would jeopardize my job chances, lol.
OMG!!!! Baby Jay is *SO* cute! His crying made me want to hug the little guy! Lol. Pete was a way cute lil guy, too. I loved all the home video clips. Super cute and funny.

I miss my mom. Because of quarantine I’m scared to go visit her. I sent this to her and it brought her so much joy. We were able to bond over this skit and I’m so thankful. Anyone else who can’t see there mom I recommend sending her this it really was a fun thing for my mom and I to share.
Kate Thomas go just stay at a distance or ware mask and you will be FINE! I been out working every day and that’s what I do and I’m done never better making record breaking money and no time or any where to spend it! But those are good problems to have obviously!

My mother is in quarantine with covid-19 so I can't see her. She has dementia so she doesn't know what day it is today, but I do. I wish I could see her or hear her voice. My sister and I went up to the hospital this morning to wave at her through her window but she didn't feel like getting out of bed. We had flowers and signs that we made up and just had to leave it all there for the nurses to bring up to her room. 😥

For the jeopardy skit the hemorrhaging quote was gold (no pun intended) “remember kids, if it’s not happening, don’t push, wait and come back later.” This philosophy can be applied to all aspects of life, even beyond the bathroom. It’s similar to this the teachings of Taoist philosophy (if you stand on your tip toes you are unstable... -Tao Te Ching), Stoicism, and many other philosophers! Letting nature take its course without forcing things. Loved it😂❤️

I know the feelings. I lost my Madre in 1994,she passed 15 days before her 55th birthday,10 days before Xmas n 16days before new years. But every year after 1994, feelings have become much more manageable, because of LOVE !!! Bless you Stephanie n All Always n Forever n Ever AMÉN.

I'm lucky enough to still have both my parents now. But I can only imagine the hurt you all have to endure from losing someone that dear to you. It's rough because the better the parent they are/were, and the more they are loved, the more it hurts when they are gone. So ive always thought of the pain from losing someone as bittersweet. (I've lost a couple of very, very, dear and close people to me. Just not my parents.) It reminds me of how much I love them, and that has always helped a little.
I wish you all, all the best. I'm glad you guys were able to have such loving parents in your lives, and sorry for your losses. Happy late Mothers Day. Take care.
