LRB played on Canadian radio in my area back in the 70s. This is one of my favorite songs, from a band who got way too little attention.

Said it once, be saying it again, this is the most underrated rock song ever. Listen, listen, I grew up in the 60’s, 70’s, buying Zep and Beatles as they came out.... this is simply an amazing tune....

These guys are the real sound of the Little River Band. The imposters need to be sent to jail for defrauding the American public and pretending to be these guys. I know the real sound of LRB, have been listening to it since I was fifteen years old, and this is the real sound of the original voices of that band. They always were and always will be!

If you love LRB there’s a great reaction channel that in the last few days has done a deep dive reacting to lots of LRB check out Jamal’s channel. He started with a John Farnham live version of Reminiscing. Got lots of requests for the Glenn Shorrock Version and now he’s working his way through the catalogue.

Hard to believe anyone would want to continue trying to match these guys for harmonies and musicianship. These guys are Little River Band, and the American "tribute" band that has their name will never do them justice! So glad Birtles/Shorrock/Goble continue to perform, and perform well! Thanks for sharing!

When I first heard this song I wanted my band to do it.
Well, we compromised and did 'Help is on the way' and 'Curiosity killed the cat', and 'Happy Anniversary'.
Man they were the best, I saw them at a small club in Virginia Beach in the late 70's, The Rogues Gallery, I believe.
I had a front row, round table, … the stage pulsed with energy.
      So good!

We did well, playing clubs and colleges in the ‘Old Dominion’ area of Virginia.

A hidden masterpiece from LRB. So many years on, and I hear influences I never recognized back then: Alan Parsons Project, Crosby/Stills/Nash/Young, maybe a little ZZ Top, and some later Dire Straits at the end. And NO AUTOTUNE!

Michael McDonald wasn’t the real Doobies. He converted them to the Disco Doobies when Tom got ill. The DBs were a hardcore biker band from NorCal and the Songs reflected that heritage.

    • @TheSaleen786

Michael McDonald wasn't Disco, he sang Blue Eyed Soul. He actually saved the Doobie Brothers from fading away into history like most all of the other 70's classic rock and roll bands, when lead singer Tommy Johnston got sick with ulcers and had to leave the band during the summer of 1976, and they needed a fill in to complete the tour. Michael was so talented they asked him to stay and the four Grammy Awards came as a result. Tommy eventually rejoined the band and Michael went on his own.

I may have single handedly increased the views of this song by 1000. This may actually sound better than the original. Amazing!

It's a million percent better live rather than through any set of tinny PC speakers.

@@davidringo1399 It is better. but technology and technique have improved out of sight, despite the antiquity of Cream thier final Albert Hall concert sounded a great deal better than their original 'Farewell' Concert, despite the considerable antiquity of Cream's members by then! For LRB (BS&G) it's a similar outcome, that Guitarist can Kick Briggsies arse too BTW (and mine)! I still play Briggsies version for a reason now!

Saw them in Spokane WA Opera House in the early 80's...great concert...sang all the songs with them from my days in my 1972 ford custom van between Spokane and Billings MT. Good times...

This was an awesome performance of this amazingly difficult song to play. They nailed it. The original lead work was masterful but this young man nails this song. Love it. Man I wish I could play like that. Lord knows i've tried.

All of the musicians/singers are so tight in this. Lead guitar...shredded it. Bass...spot on. But that drummer, is tighter than a gnats ass stretched over a rain barrel. Absolutely incredible!!

Glenn is the only one who should sing this...it's the 'quality' of his voice.
