It's been that long or longer since I last saw them live. I thought I would pull this song up as I'm trying to teach myself piano by ear. 3 basic 🎶 notes. I'll listen a few times first, since it's been so long. Great song. Paul sounds great 👍 Thanks for posting this jam !
I saw Bad Company in 2016 with Richie Sambora supporting and was absolutely baffled that the Manchester Arena was only three quarters full!!🏴🏴🏴🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🏴😁☮️🎸
60 this year, really, i still feel 17. Especially when i listen to these guys!!❣❣ I sing country a little, play the guitar a little, but i rock out with BAD COMPANY!!!!!! So glad you all shared.🥰
Paul Rodgers has aged well and the band still sounds great. True rock and roll that gives their fans satisfaction along with great memories and friendships.
In my day we always looked at songs like this as metaphors of our life. Kids now days just take everything so literal. They hear a song like this they think”Hey that’s a call to me”and show up to school and start blasting
This may be just a three chord song but it takes exceptional musicians to perform this song. The timing and phasing is absolutely first class and as it is "live" you will hear any mistakes of which there are none. There are no aids as per today to help the musicians and singer to hide any imperfections so you have to know your instrument and how to play it in conjunction with other musicians. Paul Rodgers is in the same league as Freddy Mercury and his voice is as good today as it ever was. He is the absolute front man and incredibly gifted. The rest of the musicians are tight and the drummer for his age is outstanding. It is a real pity that this kind of excellence is not evident in today's music and it is also an absolute disgrace that Bad Company are denied a place in the hall of fame as they more than most bands have contributed to making rock and roll what it is.
They rolled out legendary songs in their day. They are really the deep state of rock and roll, unacknowledged by the industry, but anytime as big as Deep Purple, Steppenwolf, or the Rolling Stones. They get my vote, anytime.
Bad Co. was one of the original super groups. They were discovered and signed to Swan Song Records, the same label as Led Zeppelin. That's all you need to know.
Love this song if I had this one CD I hit repeat like 1000 times if you are dieing this song would raise the dead always gets my blood flowing like coffee in the morning!!
Brilliant performance from a sensational band. They are still great live after all these years....that voice...PD is the beeees kneees and Kirkey on drums great job. Bad Co forever!!!

I have seen Bad Company twice this year, once in Palm Springs, and last week opening for Lynard Skynard in Vancouver Wa, and I gotta tell you, they, and Skynard, still sound great, hope you get a chance to see them while they are still playing, a night you won't forget.
Saw these in 1973 with Lou Reed and The Who at Charlton football ground in South London. My first ever gig, and hooked on Rock Music ever since. Very possibly he has the greatest rockvoice ever, and still got it into his seventies.

After decades of enjoying Bad Company, I finally got to see Paul last year, 2018 in Tampa. The Stars Align tour with Jeff Beck and Ann Wilson. I was not disappointed.
Wow, I'm sure you were not. Paul Rodgers reminds of John and Paul that never sings out of key - very few to accomplish this to my ears. I think that the stars aligned. Nice!!!
I got posted in the middle 11 th yr of “ high” school... my fave rocker voice !!, actually had the 8 track , and played it all the way, to the next posting... man in 11 th grade-the coolest friends ever!!!
