Any recommendations? Ive been trying to build a commander deck around him, in a "wheel" style. The idea is to foretell anything I wanna keep, and wheel away the rest, so I get access to things I want, while also potentially hurting my opponents. However, aside from any decent wheel, and Edgin himself, im not sure what else would work well synergy wise, with him.

As an ADHD Izzet player who has been searching for that sweet spot balance between "fun commander that actually works in doing izzet things" and " still fun for everyone else" this is a godsend.

This is the kind of love Foretell needed! One of my favorite mechanics in the game.

Also, love foretell. Best mechanic. Nevermind the ability to defraud ones taxes because foretell is how you sidegrade like 85 percent of cards ever made.
It lets me keep playing the game when I miss all my land drops and that’s what I appreciates about foretell

As a primary Izzet player, and someone who played Red/Blue even predating legions..... This is a fair depiction of what we do. More turn per turn is the name of the game with Izzet.
That ADHD bit about forgetting the cards really speaks to me 😂
I love izzet with my full soul, but can never quite make it work. This card is literally a godsend. Keeps big creatures from attacking the spellslinger, and allows for even cheesier spellslinging plays. It's severely underrated in commander. The battlecruiser player in me hates it, but the izzet player in me adores it.
There are a creature that goads when you cast a noncreature spell, it's nice

I play Izzet because I just want to cast a bunch of spells and have an 8/8 flyer on turn three is that so much to ask
all I wanna do is flip coins and draw cards, and if the eye of chaos is a 96/96 unblockable attacker, that's just a nice bonus
One of the dopest Izzet commanders, probably my second favorite one behind the Breeches/Malcolm partner combo
I've never felt so seen by a video. I love casting multiple 7 mana spells per turn and not getting punched, and I LOVE Chris Pine

Both times I've cast that card in a commander game, I've done it before people could get their commanders out lol. And it took surprisingly long for my opponents to remove it, adding to the torture lol 😆

As a Mardu player I have to admit Izzet and Dimir are both very fun colors. I always give Blue the side eye cause I don't lie being a basic ass bitch, but card draw and counterspell are just damn tasty as well.

Absolutely adore Edgin! He absolutely hits the sweet spot where the original Jhoira could be too much and get hated off the table, the cost reduction being just enough to make certain cards feel GREAT to play without actually being busted! One with the Multiverse? Swarm Intelligence? Thousand Year Storm? All humongous win-more cards that you usually spend your turn 4 and 5 setting as Yu-Gi-Oh trap cards that people can't expect but can't always be mad at you for playing a little ahead of time. Honestly, one of my favorite synergies I ever got to use with him was casting a foretold Storm King's Thunder where X = 3 after reduction, as well as a foretold Big Score to make six treasures and draw six cards at the end of someone's turn on turn 5 (thanks to a singular mana rock and hitting my land drops). Really appreciate this video!

When foretell was first revealed it took me back to my yugioh days laying down traps and waiting for just the right time to revealed em I'm just waiting on a foretell card that destroys all attacking creatures like mirror force back in the day

I play Orzhov nearly exclusively, might just splash some green on occasion for a Rhino or some such nonsense. Nothing makes me happier than ripping card draw from an Izzet player’s hand. This card looks like the bane of my existence. Oh, and Karona, False God next please my good sir.

I played Edgin into my friend, I managed to cast so much, and ended on windfall, milling both of our decks completely and discarding both of our entire hands.
When you played this with the professor you acted like that one kid in class who always says the most out of pocket stuff but is super polite in front of someones parents

As someone who plays Be'lakor, the Dark Master EDH, that religiously tries to mulligan for the heaven sent (hell sent?) blessing that is Dream Devourer and that got saved and even handed some victories thanks to Kardur Doomscourge, having both effects on your commander feels like cheating (even if the goad is a bit less powerful on Eddy here), the good kind of cheating, the one that makes you win.
Also, the look of terror on people faces when you plop down a massive threat for significantly cheaper / cast a Damnation for BB and then spend the rest of the turn building up an hell army is priceless.

This is a wonderful update of o.g. Jhoira. (Goad is beautiful) but the enfranchised nerd in me really wishes it was a universes within card that didn't have a real (but admittedly dashing) actor's face on it.
I really wanted to see this deck get full-on rolling on SUAP. I had your flavour of condescension pegged as an Izzet guy from the first time I saw your roasts, and you delivered. Leave it to the dirty green player to fuck up your jam.
