I tend to agree with you. I play Powers & Perils and the deadly hits scare me... whether it is the risk of my character's weapon breaking or getting hit by a deadly and getting one-shot, especially from a rear or surprise attack.
Our table played Curse of Strahd for 5e and we voted on using the "Crunchy Crit" house rule for both players and monsters. It was a tonne of fun (for us), and there were moment where player characters almost got downed from full health. I am somewhere in the middle in this. House rules are fine, but they are at play, they should apply to everyone at the table. I do find low-damage crits to be a bit anticlimactic, but if the "Crunchy Crits" are at play, it is only fair that I get hit with crunchy crits as well. How people play depends between tables. No table is for everyone and noone enjoys every table.
@@SageMasterRPG 100% man! :) He always paints himself as this 'honest guy' but he's one of the most deceitful people I've ever come across in the RPG community. And when you eviscerate him in his comments and call him out on his BS, he quickly scarpers and shadow bans you! Truth hurts as they say! LOL
"He doesn't think that should happen. Holy fuck!!"
I love your rants. I have this same pet peeve, but it's funny hearing it from someone else. 😂

Stop leaving five dislikes on my videos.
I haven't been on your channel for a couple weeks now, you have many people that don't like you.
@@SageMasterRPG Pay him no mind, mate. He's just very bitter because no one lies him. Just block the cry-baby fool like he does to everyone else.
@@scepticskeptic3794 I have handled him before. He loves to lie and play the victim card.
