install went good. i also sprayed the pipes and welds with high temp paint. i also put epoxy putty on the welds because from experience they rust first and put the silicone mat between the muffler and hanger (the same style as in the video) ill give an update after a while.
That's some good results from the high temperature paint

hi, use stainless steal exhaust. It is 2-3 times the cost, but it will last about 8-10 years.
Thank you for making this video
You are welcome.
@@robertdeptula2003 Do you have snow and salt where you live?
Yes. Montreal, Canada
Rubber would be better than fiberglass. Unlike fiberglass rubber won't absorb and hold salt spray.
i was thinking about silicone as its heat proof
How many VHT sprays has been used to the whole exhaust system ?
Two cans.
great info. i also use fibreglass weave in between the hanger, but i drench it in oil so it won't keep water inside it
isnt it going to smell like burnt oil? im planning on also using the fibreglass to prevent rubbing and rusting out the new muffler
@@superjojo555 only in the very beginning, but i find that the volatiles usually evaporate after maybe one day of driving
@@BasicEndjo the store was out of fiberglass so im going to try a non stick silicone baking mat lol
Please report the results back here.
