Yesss, just got a new car so I'm happy to hear you're going to do a vid on how to wash without a pressure washer I eventually wanna invest in one but that car ate through my budget so I'm gonna have to wait a bit 😂
What about your protectants in direct sun? Will there be a video on how to use Hyrdo-slick, Jet Stream, Butter Wax, etc. in sunlight for those of us without a garage? I've love to see that!
Hey! It all depends what you like and are trying to do? If you are trying to cover large areas, we recommend using a larger clay, but if you want to get into small cracks and crevices, we recommend using a clay bar.
A lot of times I rinse my car, foam it, rinse it, then use a wash mitt with soap and rinse then dry. Would you say just to foam it then use the mitt and not rinse in-between? I am newer to all of this but I have been getting pretty good results this way.
I didn't see you clean the wheels. Did you do that first? Also, when I'm cleaning my SUV, by the time I get to the other side I'm worried that the water has dried up enough to cause water spots. Does the after wash take care of that?
We recommend the ProFlow PM2000 Pressure Washer. Check out the link down below. www.chemicalguys.com/products/proflow-pm2000-performance-electric-pressure-washer
I have a black mercedes that I did a 2 step paint correction on ,I recommend keeping the car rinsed till you get all the panels done , I'll then dry it with a shammy. Then I'll go over with a quick detailer or spray wax too remove any dried up water spots
I spray off, foam, spray off again and then foam. I start up at top and work my way down one panel at a time. It dries way to fast in this Texas heat. I keep the vehicle wet the whole time. Final rinse then dry.
Or Just use 4-5 double side wash mitts or 1-2 towels fold as a square and use all eight sides to scrub the car. So you don’t have to keep going back and forth and rinse the mitt. No need for an extra bucket of water.
i still cant get rid of my friggin mini water spots and semi small streaks on my windshield i have all your products next is trying a new micro fiber cloth all products i have bought from chem guys are very good
@@ChemicalGuys Could you please tell me how to clean old oxidized aluminum on the Honda engine, what kind of chemical solution should I use guys? Thank you very much ♥️

Yup. Gunna have to use the garden hose for a bit 😂
Just got my Mr Pink today will be trying in the near future nice job Henry
Happy detailing!
Excellent real-world vid 👍🏽
We do live in the real world!
I like the green color of the house.
I like the feedback!

Nice how to video! What do you guys think of the clay mitts out there on the market?

I like this man.

Now do a black car in full sun. 😅 I wash at 530-545 in LA summers.
Black car? Sounds like a challenge, but we will make it happen!
@ChemicalGuys want a demo car to use lol
🤔🤔🤔
I washed my black car yesterday. Had to do it again today 😂
I didn't see you clean the wheels. Did you do that first? Also, when I'm cleaning my SUV, by the time I get to the other side I'm worried that the water has dried up enough to cause water spots. Does the after wash take care of that?
I worry about water spots too!!! I'm in TX! It's 110* today! 😢
Nice job and good tips. I’d like to see an updated clay video…..important step. Butter Wet Wax will make that silver pop.
Thanks so much for tuning in!!
Mr. Foam Party has a good ring to it actually 🎉 🍷🍻
😃
Will lucent synthetic spray wax be used as a drying aide? I wash 7am lol lots of coffee
Hey! Yes, you may use it as a drying aid.
Is that a special pressure washer tip? It seems to have a nice, wide fan to it for rinsing.
Would you still use after wash if you have a blower to dry the car?
We recommend using After Wash to add more shine to your paint!
What’s the ideal psi on a pressure washer?
We recommend the ProFlow PM2000 Pressure Washer. Check out the link down below.

Have you Guys thought about making a water filter attachment for the hose yet. Filters out the crappy stuff in our water for better drying
Great idea, we made this video to show our Chemical Guys family how to wash their cars at home with non filtered water.
Do it on a black car lol
We have washed the daily before, but we will do a black car.

7 am saturday morning bumping some music
Sounds like a vibe! Thanks for sharing!
Here in Arizona, I have to start at 5:30 in the morning during summer time to get my vehicle's done at 75°. It's too hot at midday.
Early morning car washes are the best!
What temperature is too hot to detail? What’s the ideal temperature? Sorry im new to detailing.

Do a black car
We have done it before.

@@ChemicalGuys That is indeed a gray civic, but thanks though
Your right, I'll wash a black car and get the same results! Stay tune for the video.
Okay now try doing a black car in direct sunlight
Theres only one way it can be done. VERY FUCKEN QUICKLY
I have a black mercedes that I did a 2 step paint correction on ,I recommend keeping the car rinsed till you get all the panels done , I'll then dry it with a shammy. Then I'll go over with a quick detailer or spray wax too remove any dried up water spots
Lol
I try to wash it in the morning, which is rare, but I usually wash it in the evening, around 5-7pm. Once the sun is no hitting my Tahoe
I spray off, foam, spray off again and then foam. I start up at top and work my way down one panel at a time. It dries way to fast in this Texas heat. I keep the vehicle wet the whole time. Final rinse then dry.
Make sure it's cool to the touch, after sitting in the sun? So, wash the car first thing in the morning in the sun, but before it gets hot.
Where is the part 2??
Or Just use 4-5 double side wash mitts or 1-2 towels fold as a square and use all eight sides to scrub the car. So you don’t have to keep going back and forth and rinse the mitt. No need for an extra bucket of water.
I use a squeegee on windows so I don’t need to ring out my dry rag so much
so its like jet dry in a dishwasher
i still cant get rid of my friggin mini water spots and semi small streaks on my windshield i have all your products next is trying a new micro fiber cloth all products i have bought from chem guys are very good
Use rubbing compound
The “Hi neighbor!” In the high pitched voiced had me rolling 😂
👍
I have a motorhome so could you please let us know the proper way to wash a motorhome
Sounds like we have to make a video! We recommend washing it using the same techniques we did in this video. Thanks for watching!
Looks like you should have cleaned the daily.
We have cleaned it before, check out the link below.
ua-cam.com/video/M3IBYk6epi0/v-deo.html&t
74 degrees lmaooo yea that’s not something that happens in south Texas 100+ last three months
Can yu use a wash and wax spray instead of after wash and then dry
And you used a light color car to demonstrate....
And we also have washed the daily.

Nobody keeps their car in the garage
Specially in SoFlo
No garage queens here! 😂
I keep all my cars in the garage!
You kept calling it a well maintained car, I don't think so.
I'm waiting for the neighbors to come out
😁

We love the support!

Why don't you move the buckets along with you, so you don't have to walk back and forward??
I didn't move them because I am working in my drive way and I find it best for me to leave it one place. - CG Henry
He needs a bucket dolly
@@emiller7040 good idea, I will do that. Thanks 😊
