I was able to get to the range and try this. I gained a ton of distance but what shocked me the most was the ball flight. It was straight as an arrow every time! I couldn't believe my eyes honestly.

Yeah its tough to keep !ight grip pressure but you get a lot more mph. Give up control and make small adjustments with ball position, foot flare, stance width, shoulder tilt at set up, knee bend,etc... At the range obviously!

I prefer a firm, not tight grip and not light. Soft, flexible, supple wrists is a major key. Allow the club weight and momentum to the top of the back swing set the wrists to allow them the hands to release correctly through impact. @@nicholasdemetriades9154

I like that...Give up control. It's so true. Basically it's about making small passive adjustments until the recklessness is consistently sending the ball a country mile down the Fairway.

I just got back from the range...HOLY S#$%! THIS lesson gives us the cheat code!! I have never hit the ball so hard and far in my life! The best part is, my back doesn't hurt!

@@brotharuss You are gonna crush brotha. I’m gonna go in the morning most likely. I’ve been working on my longer clubs specifically 3 wood. Driver and irons I had a nice year hitting the ball.

You were right Chris...I CRUSHED IT! I never punished the cover of a golf ball like that before. The more relaxed my hands and forearms were the faster the club went around. This video lesson turns your swing into a bull whip! My new favorite video on UA-cam.

How did your monring range session go Chris? Do you use alot of Tom's teachings in your swing? Good to hear you had a nice year hitting the ball.

Not so much teaching as a demonstration. Glad you can do it 😅
