Thank you so much for the wonderful videos! The flowers on the shelf are beautiful! May I ask what is the he the size of the flower pot? What kind of soil mix do you use for flowers? And what is the distance between the shelves? Could you please do a video on growing flowers?
We arent a flower farm so we dont do a lot with them except use them in our fiesta blends. The are in 5" pots we try to set them a few inches apart to give them room to grow out. Flowers are A LOT of work, they need constant pruning and care. The soil is just a potting mix, nothing special and we only grow a few varieties. Marigolds, pentas, snap dragons and violas but all are in different seasons. We sometimes order our starter plants from another local farm. Just depends on how much time we have to commit to the flower growing. Maybe at some stage we could do a video on the flowers but its not our focus right now :)
We date a “harvest date” the micros could last anywhere from 7-14 days depending on how they are handled so that varies quite a bit and would be hard to put a date on 😊
Wondering what ratio of hydrogen peroxide to water you use for spraying the seeded trays and under the trays? And what strength peroxide are you starting out with before dilution? Thank you!
Yes we follow the same Protocol for Chard, Golden Beets and Red Beets. but our seed density for those crops is 30G instead of 35G as the seeds are larger
Amerzing ... I have a question ? 5 days - in dark, 13 days - under sunlight ? All together its 17 days of journey .. then wht about 26 days ? Pls let me know it
Yes. I’d advise an indoor growing operation. That way you have full control of your growing environment year round regardless of the outdoor temps. Happy growing.
Watering? Frequency and qty? I understand qty will vary greatly, maybe compare to crop, Very low water like amaranth? Med water like broccoli High water like peas? Thanks those look amazing 👏
Hey Gareth. We will do a follow up and a video on watering schedules for all our different crop varieties. We have moved a lot of our grow to a flood and drain Pallet rack system, however i do see the importance of showing you watering habits as its crucial to the success of this crop. Stay tuned and we will do detailed watering video. Thanks for supporting the channel we appreciate you.
We use a 2 gallon spray bottle, 1.8 oz of zerotol to every 2 gallons. You can do a stronger mix and bump it up to 2 oz if you need to. We are having soil issues at the moment and dealing with lots of pathogen issues in the soil so we bumped it up a little.
Thank you, I saw you guys were having issues with aphids in another one of your videos. I would reccommend looking in to koppert. They sell a variety of beneficials insects that will help manage pest pressure ( aphids, thrips, spider mites etc) if you want to stay away from sprays.

Have you had success with amaranth and beets in the flood and drain? I use pallet racks too. Been nervous to grow amaranth that way.
Do you black out?
we do not no. Dont feel the need to. We get consistent results without black out
@@tinyleafmicrogreenfarm that is good to know thanks
How many MLs/gallon of water for the zerotol?

Great info, but you didn’t talk to anything about the watering cycle at all?????
Water cycle is a whole video on its own. Also we can show everyone but you really have to give it a go! It’s all about feel & practice 😊
We will reply with a new video non watering different microgreen varieties. It all depends on your climate and grow space.
+1 the previous comment. Also would like to know about watering. Show us, at least once or twice.
Thanks for your feedback. We will follow up with a watering video across the board for crop varieties. Happy Growing.
