Ah ODSTs...the most kick-ass special forces units in any Sci-Fi.
Those men deserve recognition, recognition that they sadly didn't get because of the Spartans and all the propaganda ONI made about them

The lack of Battle Rifle really made the other weapons stand out and forced me to experiment more for the most part.
It just made me equip the carbine instead, lol.

I agree and which made using the ssmg and the socom zoom more practical

i swear i missed so many shots that should of been headshots with the carbine
@@tylerherr4288 Same here. If I had a choice between the Carbine and the SOCOM Pistol, I'd go with the Pistol since it felt more accurate whenever I used it.

Wee side note about the Hornet: much like the Battle Rifle, the Hornet is again available in custom Firefight. You can set them to spawn on the map "Lost Platoon", in place of the Warthog spawning.
Same with the Sentinel Beam, as a side product of Sentinels and Flood Combat forms wielding Sentinel Beams being added to Firefight.
"Named after arboreal marsupial." Aboreal means it lives in trees, wombats from what I remember do not live in trees.
I think the wraith was usable in the same way the anti-air wraith is on the Covenant mission in Halo 3. My team used it to help with the Deja Vu achievement back in the day

ODST was my Favorite halo game when I played I missed the old halo days but it gives me so much memories.

Dare had a different drop pod variant. When you find dares pod, the interior is white/grey with more smooth surfaces. it kinda reminded me of the H2 drop pod
Suggestion: Move the "Armoury" word on the thumbnail to the left. It's hidden behind the time code.

MOST DEFINITELY liked and enjoyed watching this one, the Police Pelican is one of my MOST favorites in this game.

@@Ranger_Brutus nope, Legendary with Famine and Tilt on. Follow Virgil and you can even collect all the logs without loosing too much time.
The whole HMG in the back of the LE variant Pelican makes me wonder how dystopian Halo is for the average civilian. We don't really see any in the games except for some npcs in Reach I believe.
The wraith IS usable, but only in coop on the last mission. And of course, the anti-air wraith glitch from Halo 3 can still be performed otherwise, but wouldn't count that as "usable" officially.
wait the M6C SOCOM simultaneously has a suppressor and muzzle brake? Isn't that kinda self-defeating, since muzzle brakes make guns louder?
@@staryoshi06 I mean there are muzzle brakes that have the grooves to attach suppressors. But yeah it seems dumb honestly

Huh. Never really registered in my head before that the SOCOM pistol was a variant of the Halo 2 model.
Thinking about it now yeah I can see it but it had never really crossed my mind.
I know that im 2 years late but I have to say that for me was weird in the game we saw the first police pelucas ever and for me it Was a weird choice because, and orbital troop transport for thr police seems a bit too broken, actually hornets or falcons to me had more sense... but just now thanks to your vid when you sayed: it was used for terrorist attacks and natural dissasters it came to my mind: Oh that tall thing wich was a space elevator in mombasa in case of something failing probably the only kind of fast response vehicle could be a pelican.
So thanks for your video now I understand why the new mombasa police has a pelican as air support (and maybe other stuff also thanks to megablocks) but now its explained why.
Covenant Vs unsc robots ,unsc have super smart artificial intelligence cortana so why robot did not help with war .

Well, smart AIs are expensive and require the brain of a person to scan on to use it as a base to create them, so they are only used for important places like ships and bases of high importance
It could also be that the UNSC didn't make great advances in robotics to develop effective military droids due to the colonization efforts and fighting back the insurrection

"Wraith is un-usable in ODST" sorry but that's wrong, just played through the game in one sitting 3 days ago and you can get yourself a wraith by hi-jscking the front and using melee just like in halo 3. You can kill the driver before causing the vehicle too much damage then you are free to use it yourself
