  • It seems like only yesterday that I was taking delivery of my new shiny Fantic Casa E 250 Enduro bike. That was just over a year ago as it happens.
This is my full long term review of the bike. This could be the best Enduro bike in the world for beginner and intermediate riders. With a few tweaks and mods it would definitely be the best.
Check out Clements Moto for specs on the bike and any other Fantic sold in the UK to date. They are the UK importer for Fantic.

The Acerbis fender pack is great. It's only about £20 too which is nice. The first one broke but the replacement was much more sturdy.

Good honest real life review ,likes & dislikes.
You forgot to mention the Arrow exhaust, but I guess in the riding footage the exhaust speaks for itself. Great sounding bike as well.
I have replaced the rear shock with the upgraded Hagon shock & it totally transforms the bike, only wish I had done it sooner .
Next thing for me is to change the fork oil as you mentioned to a thinner viscosity to soften the front ,then it will be in my opinion the bike it always should have been .
I bought mine brand new for under 5k with a 2 year warranty, ask Ktm ,Huakavana ,Beta to match that,no chance .
Another really plus point to the bike it comes standard with two radiators & two fans ,great when going slow & doing really technical trails without having to worry about the engine overheating.
You won't find many used bikes for sale as mentioned, owners hold on to them because it does everything you need from this type of bike ,smiles for miles nothing beats it !!

Thanks for the review Mark. I have recently bought a 2018 carb version. Worth people being aware the newer models are EFI.
I may well upgrade the suspension but waiting for lockdown to end to try it out on the lanes.
I love the engine too having moved up from a Serow.
I am 5ft 9 and find the seat height ok having thought I would need to lower it.
I'm also changing the battery to Lithium which you had recommended in a previous post. The previous owner gave me a modified battery tray which means I can access the air filter by just removing the seat which will be helpful, as well as the weight saving.
I think the bike is great value and looking forward to getting out onto the lanes!!👍

Interesting review, I've done a few thousand miles in Maroc overlanding, went a few weeks ago and we got crf 250, knocked about 1800km, mix of surface, road, rocks and sand. Im thinking about getting an offroader and considering one of these.

Morning, hope you're having a good adventure.
I would say the Fantic is far better off-road in general than the crf250. That said though, the CRF is a far better road bike. I'd you're thinking of serious off roading then I'd keep the CRF for green Laning and get a KTM or Husky for more challenging stuff. I've got a KTM EXC-F 350 and it wipes the floor off road with both. It's not the best on road though. 😃

      @dynamotightstar3472  Рік тому +1

Thanks for the comment mate. I wouldn't buy the Fantic 250 for hard trails. The engine doesn't have the power of a 250 KTM for example and the suspension is very budget.compared to a KTM for example. I bought a 350 KTM after the Fantic and it is far better at everything. I now have a 300 2 stroke Beta and that thing will be far better for hard trails.
At the minute Fantic do a 125 2 stroke MX Bike or 250 trail bike. The new 450 might be an option as it's pretty much a Yamaha WR450.

I heard of various blocks that this bike had at the engine level in 2019/2020 model, something related to the recirculation of fumes and that kind of crochet that is in the exhaust.. you know if the 2022 version also has the same blocks...

Funnily enough, and this is completely true, I talked about going into the menu and "calibrating" it and the very next ride it had sorted itself out And worked fine after that. I can't say exactly what I did really.
The reality is that you can ride 80mikes easily without trouble. On or off road. I carried a litre of fuel with me for nearly a year and the only time it was ever us d was a 450 husky. The fantic never ever came close to running out. I did a TRF run around Leicestershire of 95 mike's and still had fuel left.

Just follow the above and you be fine. You won't ride it any harder than I have I still got 80mikes out of it. You'll be fine. It's a brilliant and very capable bike. Have you got a 13t or 14t front sprocket? For off roading you really want a 13t. If you're riding mainly road then the 14t is better.
I've gone to the KTM because the fantic was my baby and I couldn't stand seeing it get ruined by rising it hard. I actually went out with my mate Nick, the guy that bought it, and we had this convo. It's not new to him and so he doesn't care that much about it.
