Nice new 4 stroke engine option It is comparable in power to the small 2 stroke POLINI THOR 190 HF which has 83 Kg with Ø 130 cm propeller, this 4 stroke is about the same thrust with 30,2HP at 8100U/min, the polini is 29 HP at 8100 rpm. This weighs 38.8 to 43.7 lbs the polini is 30 lbs and up from there. The polini runs $2,850.00 to $3,350.00 depending on the configuration and this is $4550 with elec start. This 4 stroke is more comparable to the Rotax 277 and not the Rotax 377. So it is on the lower power side for say a USA ultralight weighing under 254 lbs. It may work, but you need a long runway and no obstructions, and climbout will be somewhat minimal. I hope they come out with something with 50% more displacement (or as much power as they can get with a final weight under 60 lbs including E-PROP manual start and full coolant), then we will be more interested.
