What you said is 💯 percent right. I've been married for 35 years. I met my husband when I was 20 and he was 40. I wasn't serious but he was. He asked to meet my parents' right away. I met his with the quickness. He treated me like a queen then and he still does. We're been through thick, thin, and thinner. I have lots of health issues. He's right by my side. I'm right by his side with his health issues. We are going to renew our wedding vows next year. I can't wait to continue to be his bride for the rest of my life. My stepson is going to give me away and be best man. Yes, my husband was married and divorced before he met me. Not a deal breaker for me. His son is just as sweet as his father.

I’m 35 no bf never been maried and sick of people with weird and unstable relationship/marriage asking why I’m still single. Getting married is not the difficult part, staying is. I won’t rush into a bad marriage because of society and people. I know what I need and want and it takes time for some people to find it. In the meantime I’ve got a good job and travel the world everytime I can.Enjoy life and the right one will come along.🤩

I'm more educated than he is, yet he is comfortable in his skin, and we are going places by the mercies of God. Listen to what Aunty Fums says. I preach it to my young girlfriends. It's true.

I was JUST having this conversation with a single friend of mine!! The wedding is but ONE day but your marriage vows are to be for a LIFETIME!! So many people I went to School with RUSHED into marriage, treating their Union like a pair of jeans to take off when they were uncomfortable or simply wanted to wear a new pair of pants. I am thankful, that despite the ROUGH terrain my husband and I have traveled in our soon to be 13 year Union on August 20th, we are still together. It has been WORK!!! We still wake up everyday determined to still make our marriage work AND be healthy not only for us but so our kids have a healthy example. We are 36 & 37 and I’m PRAYING to have a LIFETIME with one another!

    Hello Fumi
You hit this out the park. Ask the difficult questions, I am 56 years young and everything you are saying is so correct.
Thank you for this because I am single and I want to be married again, but it’s harder for a women of a certain age and it helps to hear this and remind myself the most importance of being able to love and live with another person, starts with loving myself first.
    Thank you❤

  • @ΠανωραίαΚόκκινου-ι4σ

Mam I have watched this video more than 10 times and everything that you say is truth. Small things bring bigger, always trust your gut. I m 40 and single and I see so many red flags around me that I'm scared. I try to reach clarity. It is so difficult. I believe that only when you know what you want then you can find it or it will come to you. And if you love and accept yourself first and try to correct some of your flaws it will always something better will come. Today I bought a ring for me, I work very hard and I rarely take things for me like that. So I bought a ring in order to remember that I live and die as one single piece ,one package. I hope for the best. I trust my gut first. Thank you and thank you all ❤ ...

The best way to get married is to first learn how to be single. It is only when you learn how to be single, that is, know yourself, what you want, etc. that you will know what you're about so that you'll be able to identify the traits you want in a life partner that match yours. Dr Myles Munroe had a wonderful talk about it years ago called "How to be single" which should be available on UA-cam.

As always whenever Fumi speaks on relationship topics I can’t help but to clap, cheer, like, and comment.
My husband and I started our relationship long distance so it made us truly TALK and TALK about all the things under the sun. We have asked each other so many questions that has truly made us get to know each other.
Those questions is truly KEY. Women taking accountability is also KEY.
My husband’s character is what does it for me. The fact that he’s caring , he puts in the EFFORT.
On our first meeting he stopped on the side walk to tie my shoe laces, when we crossed the street he holds my hand and make sure I was lead out of traffic, he always put my needs first without me asking or even expecting it.
I clutched my pearls because I’ve never experienced it. 😂 He pursued me and still is.
Good men are out there, we got to do the self work and scout properly.

The sad reality nowadays is that most women want to be brides and not necessarily wives.😢😢... It's always the wedding they look forward to and not fulfilling their vows as wives. Being married is a life long commitment and it's no joke...so many compromises, so much settling, and dealing with things that will drive you crazy 🤦🤦🤦.

The late Kobe Bryant had the same issue with his parents and the refused to come to his wedding. He didn't care and had 4 beautiful children before he past away to the deepest regret of his parents. Do u see what I mean? I'm disappointed in your boyfriend, not them. So i absolutely think you dodged the bullet. Count yourself LUCKY! 🍀 😊

Excellent content and 💯facts. Work on and know yourself. Recognize the red flags like extreme laziness outside of work and excessive TV watching, etc. that might be bothersome at first. It doesn’t go away it only gets worse. You have to decide what you’re gonna be content with and what will work in a relationship and what won’t. Those examples might seem minor but if they are a red flag for you, you should move on and keep looking. There’s such a thing as someone being overall a good person but NOT the Right person for you!!!

Fumi beautiful said. I agree with you 100 percent. I got married I was in my early thirties this September it will be 37 years with my husband. It's hard work but you have to work through it. But before that you have to learn to love yourself. Sometimes when you're working hard and it's even best when you live on your own and your own place by yourself... If you cannot live on your own by yourself or love yourself first.... How would you expect to with your significant other. Fumi I love your channel all my heart.... Good evening auntie Fumi, uncle Ole, Adrian and my S2S sisters. Awwwwwwww auntie there isn’t anything to add you said it all. Sometimes I wonder why some of our sisters hold on to troubled relationships. I always say if he shows you his true self that is full of red flags before he marries you why stay. If it’s your daughter or son would you encourage them to stay in broken relationships that makes them unhappy; NO. Then don’t accept garbage for yourself sisters or brothers. Good relationship is hard work but it pays to be HONEST with yourself. If he cannot respect his mum or his family HE CANNOT RESPECT YOU. RUN FAST. All of my love family. I used to tell people marriage was work and they looked at me like I was crazy! Oh yes some man can not handle a women who makes more than him. Love you Sista tell it like it is!

I love you beautiful Sister! You are just so real ❤ God bless you and keep doing what you do.
Truth - I got married again and this time I went back to the right way too. Put sex on the back burner. It works. It will show you who that man really is. I learned lessons from my failed relationships and a failed marriage. If you want something different, you have to be willing to do something different. Amen Fumi - on point.

YES! THAT PART! I agree w/ everything u said. If he ain't right, he's not right 4 me! I'm focused on me & my daughter. If God doesn't send my husband, the 🌍 won't stop spinning. But, trust & believe, if He does, he'll have all those qualities & I won't settle 4 less! THIS WAS A WORD!!!

Fumi this is amazing, candid, thoughtful, scriptural, eye-opening..... I could go on and on!
Thanks love for the sincerity in you not minding whether you'll be judged or not. Marriage was made by God to one of the most beautiful relationships that could possibly be enjoyed by a man and woman. Unfortunately it is a heartache for some.
We need to consult the originator of marriage Jehovah to have the best possible results. Thanks for reflecting God's thoughts of abstinence and only having sex after marriage. It's a game changer!
Really enjoy your videos. Wishing you all the best in marriage to your wonderful Ole!
