Omg the timing when I tell you Fumi. My 24 yr old daughter just broke up with her bf and he came to our house to pick up his things today. Lord it was so hard. I had to fight back the tears. I have come to love him like a son and when he said " I'll miss you" I just couldn't keep it together. I hugged him tight and kissed him on the cheek and told him I'd miss him too and everything would be ok. It was just awful 😞💔
A breakup over a marriage is the most devastating thing ever especially when you were not expecting it…I did miss a lot Fumi that’s for sure, when I reflected on the last couple of years the red flags was there. It was a long hard recovery process but it’s possible with the love of family friends and strangers support. The break up of my marriage was definitely a bereavement only difference is that he is still alive. I had mentally left him, shut down, switched off long before I physically left. I told him I was leaving but didn't know when. When the day came, I didn't tell anyone. I set the house alarm, locked the front door and posted the keys through the letterbox. His mentality was 'how dare I leave him.' Thank God nine years on I am good, just looking after me. The journey was tough especially when I applied for the divorce which he contested. It took me 4 years but I got it! Fumi, you are telling it just as it really is - thank you.
I definitely can relate to this. Was married 16yrs but was really already gone before I physically left. I think us women mentally leave before physically leaving because we exhauste all options before walking away. It's hard but in the end much happier. Been divorced from him for 16yrs now wow that sounds crazy but we are both better parents and grandparents for it. Our oldest has a daughter now and we are still family just a better version than we would have been if we had not gotten divorced.

I was stuck on this guy for a long time. He helped me while my mother was going through cancer treatments. He understood because his mother died of breast cancer. He was a lifeline and my life at the time. Not long after my mom died, he changed. He broke up with me. I never saw it coming. My heart was broken twice. It took time to get over him, but I did. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.
hmm does "help" mean assisting to move physically, feed, clothe & maybe at least clean or hire a cleaner to get the bathroom? don't make someone out to be a hero just in case they really only possibly bonded to you do to trauma & doing the bare minimum. now i don't know HOW you met him, if he was around the neighborhood he would hear about your situation plus be in close proximity to see you & get comfortable but not cross boundaries. if he was a complete stranger who just HAPPENED to have suffered a loss of a parent, than this was just an unfortunate ONE off🤦♀️ & my sympathy abounds. either way don't be too hard on yourself, you deserve a vacation don't forget tha🤷♀️t.

Best advice...going through this right now; However , I am married. My husband wants a divorce because he says he wants more children and i can't produce anymore babies because it was medically necessary for me to have a hysterectomy. We have 1 son that was conceived through fertility drugs, I was 40! Then when my son was 3 we tried again, but sadly I lost my baby at 10 weeks! My heart still aches over the loss. My husband found a younger woman from his county that he wants to marry so he can have more children. My heart has been broken 💔. I know now I was trying to keep a man that never had intentions on being kept. Love can survive any challenge that a couple can face, he never loved me, only loved what he could gain from me. I am mending but it hurts like hell fire 🔥.
Dear Fumi, thanks a million and bless your good heart. While I was listening to you, I soaked it all up like a sponge. I wished I could have heard those words years ago. You're right,the red flags are always there but it needs a clear mind to see them. It reminded me of how you generously shared with us how you and Ole met. This made me realise that I didn't have a clear mind for many years, so I had to pay for my lessons with a lot of tears,and time and energy and yes, I'm gonna say it, money. For all the things you mentioned in your clip, dinners, dates, clothes, therapies, etc. At the end of the day, I got to realise that it's all about healthy self love, self respect and God's grace. I met my beautiful husband 5 years ago...and I knew that this man was very different. However, past relationships and abuse had left my heart very fragile with the tendency to be closed by fear. This is my biggest regret about having been in toxic relationships: it seems like I kept giving too much to men who didn't deserve it and now that I have found my husband I have to gradually move away from hurt and fear into faith, trust and true love. I'm blessed that I'm on this journey on my own and together with my husband, my best friend, my favourite crazy and I'm so grateful for having angels on my path to help me and us along the way and it seems that you are one of them🌻🌷🦋❤🐛🦋❤🌻 thank you so much again

Fumi, those bright colors look so good on your eyes. You make me feel like I CAN experiment with the bright colors and I'll be okay. There are only 2 shades I've tried on my eyes. As a youngster, Diana Ross used to wear these horrid shades in her early career. They made her look so old. Then when she came out as more natural, I realized how beautiful she was😳😳. So, those colors do make a difference. That man and relationship business is secondary at this point in my life. I hear about more heartbreak and disappointment than anything. These guy have too many choices. Their heads are like a dog watching a tennis ball. I'm good on all that work.

I just had to rewatch this. I was in a relationship for 7 years. Started when I was 18. I was young and didn't even know myself neither did I have any clue of what I want to do with my life. This guy was older and knew what he wanted. It was beautiful the first few years but as I grew older, I started feeling that it's not for me. I realized that all I was doing was trying to prove to him that I am worthy, I didn't even have time to invest in me. That I regret. Was he a good guy yes he was. Very loving but I realized I couldn't love him fully, I was so immature . So I left. It was painful yes, still is. Now he is getting married to someone he has only dated for a year. I have to say I'm glad he is. Fast forward...Two years after that breakup I finally dated someone. This was hell. All I can remember was the hurtful words he said to me, gaslighting telling me I am the weakest woman in the world. I didn't respond to all that to the point that he just left. I'm so done. May be relationships aren't for me.

Best advice...going through this right now; However , I am married. My husband wants a divorce because he says he wants more children and i can't produce anymore babies because it was medically necessary for me to have a hysterectomy. We have 1 son that was conceived through fertility drugs, I was 40! Then when my son was 3 we tried again, but sadly I lost my baby at 10 weeks! My heart still aches over the loss. My husband found a younger woman from his county that he wants to marry so he can have more children. My heart has been broken 💔. I know now I was trying to keep a man that never had intentions on being kept. Love can survive any challenge that a couple can face, he never loved me, only loved what he could gain from me. I am mending but it hurts like hell fire 🔥.

Dear Fumi, thanks a million and bless your good heart. While I was listening to you, I soaked it all up like a sponge. I wished I could have heard those words years ago. You're right,the red flags are always there but it needs a clear mind to see them. It reminded me of how you generously shared with us how you and Ole met. This made me realise that I didn't have a clear mind for many years, so I had to pay for my lessons with a lot of tears,and time and energy and yes, I'm gonna say it, money. For all the things you mentioned in your clip, dinners, dates, clothes, therapies, etc. At the end of the day, I got to realise that it's all about healthy self love, self respect and God's grace. I met my beautiful husband 5 years ago...and I knew that this man was very different. However, past relationships and abuse had left my heart very fragile with the tendency to be closed by fear. This is my biggest regret about having been in toxic relationships: it seems like I kept giving too much to men who didn't deserve it and now that I have found my husband I have to gradually move away from hurt and fear into faith, trust and true love. I'm blessed that I'm on this journey on my own and together with my husband, my best friend, my favourite crazy and I'm so grateful for having angels on my path to help me and us along the way and it seems that you are one of them🌻🌷🦋❤🐛🦋❤🌻 thank you so much again

Great video! It's amazing to have someone in your life that can tell you things about it without even knowing you. I was told years ago that I had met my husband but I wasn't ready for him. In my heart I really want to know who he is as I continue to enjoy life.

Fumi, those bright colors look so good on your eyes. You make me feel like I CAN experiment with the bright colors and I'll be okay. There are only 2 shades I've tried on my eyes. As a youngster, Diana Ross used to wear these horrid shades in her early career. They made her look so old. Then when she came out as more natural, I realized how beautiful she was😳😳. So, those colors do make a difference. That man and relationship business is secondary at this point in my life. I hear about more heartbreak and disappointment than anything. These guy have too many choices. Their heads are like a dog watching a tennis ball. I'm good on all that work.

I just had to rewatch this. I was in a relationship for 7 years. Started when I was 18. I was young and didn't even know myself neither did I have any clue of what I want to do with my life. This guy was older and knew what he wanted. It was beautiful the first few years but as I grew older, I started feeling that it's not for me. I realized that all I was doing was trying to prove to him that I am worthy, I didn't even have time to invest in me. That I regret. Was he a good guy yes he was. Very loving but I realized I couldn't love him fully, I was so immature . So I left. It was painful yes, still is. Now he is getting married to someone he has only dated for a year. I have to say I'm glad he is. Fast forward...Two years after that breakup I finally dated someone. This was hell. All I can remember was the hurtful words he said to me, gaslighting telling me I am the weakest woman in the world. I didn't respond to all that to the point that he just left. I'm so done. May be relationships aren't for me.
