Florida’s built on a swamp so we have a lot of land. California doesn’t have as much space because Universal is in the middle of the city. We have so much space that Universal is literally building a WHOLE NEW theme park
That’s good to know, I’ve only been to Universal Orlando and was curious if the Hollywood park was better. I would love to visit to do the backlot tour, but it sounds like the park as a whole isn’t as good as Orlando
@@AnnieBrackett88 yeah the only thing Universal Studios Hollywood has going for it is that it’s an actual working movie/tv studio. It’s the original park so that’s kinda cool too, but the amount of things to do there is definitely limited.

Did you see that? The Spider signal! With Spiderman nearby, trouble can't be far away. And you know what trouble means. Headlines, national coverage! So don't screw this up! Oh I mean uh good luck
@@abbycollins The Spider Signal has been around since the earliest comics. It's not the same purpose as the Bat Signal. Spider-Man wears it on his belt, shining it either as a way to announce his arrival or simply as a light source. But it's been phased out over the last few decades.
when i was 7 and went to islands of adventure, i swear i rode this ride over ten times in a row. such a great ride and brings back so many memories. i’m 18 now and still hope to go back in the near future.

I was a Freshman in High School and we made the only vacation to Florida we ever took to check out some Florida parks! My entire family, Grandpa, Grandma aunts and uncles loved Roller Coasters and were well vetted traveling from Grand Rapid Michigan to Ceder Point and we were mostly picky roller coaster people and not that into “”theme”” rides! We really were not that excited about the Spider Man ride, we were there for the Hulk but man oh man we rode it repeatedly after being shocked how fun it was! I just remember being with my brothers and we looked at each other in shock right as Spider-Man lands right on your car! It was sick!
I live in LA so I have only ever been to Universal Studios Hollywood, I had no idea that the Spider-Man ride had elements of the Transformers ride, that's awesome I cant wait to take a trip out to Orlando one day
I agree hopefully Universal will make sure to keep the Marvel IP especially since their contract with is essentially indefinite unless Universal decides to close the Marvel Universe area, stop making payments for property usage, or Marvel opts out of the contract providing that it needs a reasonable explanation that Universal is mishandling the usage of their property but considering how the area is still popular even to this very day I doubt any of that will happen ever and overall it’s extremely unlikely to happen as well.
OMG that must have been awful! I feel so bad for her!! That’s like the worst job to have at a theme park, and you don’t even know it’s going to happen!! I wish some people would try to at least hold it in and I know it’s hard but to think of people who have to clean it up!! My mom almost got sick on the Forbidden Journey ride but she didn’t end up throwing up but she felt like it after the ride.
Bambi Bunny Probably because it looks so real on the screen but it’s fake so they get sick. Usually because of motion sickness. But to me I just think the ride is very fun and don’t throw up. But I wish people didn’t get sick on these types of rides.
Just came from the Spider-Man ride at Disney. Gotta say, Disney Imagineers didn't do a whole lot in the Imagination department for their version, and really mucked their ride up. 20 something years ago and this is holds up better than something that just came out recently.
I was in universal last week and my friend and i loved it so much we literally rode it three times, i was shocked when i found out how old it is lmao its still amazing to this day, even the wait in line was immersive and had enough going on i wasnt bored, the effects are seriously awesome but im still glad theres a video of it i can come back to when i miss it. If you havent done it fr, definitely try to get there someday, its insanely awesome!!
Now THAT'S a fun ride! Good use of 3D and effects, awesome voice acting, fast music and pretty cars. This looks so fun to ride :D I would enjoy it for sure! It looks more fun than the lame Hotel Transilvania ride with too much space, slow cars, loud music and barely moving animatronics.

Nel mio cuore, sempre!!! Ma quanto mi manca... speriamo di poterci tornare presto, ma chissà quanto tempo dovrà passare ancora. Per ora, mi è bastato un video per azionare un sacco di anni di ricordi!!
Actually insane how much better this ride is than the one in DCA
i’m so glad this ride is still there, it’s been there since i started going like 15 years ago and i’m excited to go to universal again so i can go on spiderman hah it’s 100% my favourite ride
Did you see that? The Spider signal! With Spiderman nearby, trouble can't be far away. And you know what trouble means. Headlines, national coverage! So don't screw this up! Oh I mean uh good luck
Classic Jameson
Wait, since when was there a spider signal?
@@abbycollins Ikr, did I miss something in the comics 😂
@@michaelbreckshot6589 I was thinking the same thing when I read this.
My favorite ride of all time
If I lived in Orlando I'd go to Universal just to go on this ride once a week. I love it so so much, hope they never get rid of it
Thank you for uploading this video!
I'm so nostalgic to watch this.
I rode this at Universal Studio Japan when I was a elementary school, so it's almost 15 years ago.
And I think it was exactly the same ride.
I remember that I fell in love with Spider Man bacause of this ride. lol
Sorry for my bad English.
That ride felt so intense you can feel the heat and water as if you really are in Queens
I literally cannot describe how much myself and so many others love this ride like bruh. It’s not even a roller coaster and i ride it all the time and Ik what happens on it but u just can’t get tired of it and it’s so fun all the time I just love it 🙏🙏🙏🤍🤍
I was a Freshman in High School and we made the only vacation to Florida we ever took to check out some Florida parks!
I live in LA so I have only ever been to Universal Studios Hollywood, I had no idea that the Spider-Man ride had elements of the Transformers ride, that's awesome I cant wait to take a trip out to Orlando one day
Spider-Man was built first, so you could say that Transformers has elements of the Spider-Man ride!
Joseph Olvera your comment will trigger theme park fans.
I don't know if I'm right but does anyone else see a certain stan Lee at the part when our vehicle lands in the spider net?
Actually, he makes 4 cameos in this ride
Excelsior
Me and he's also driving the garbage truck
I think he had like 3 or 4 cameo on this ride. I went on it twice last year with my family. Kept pointing him out to my cousins
Yes he is there and in the dumpster truck. That is Stan Lee.
Universal had way more respect for Marvel than Disney does.
TRUE!
So much soul. I miss the goofy comic aesthetic. Especially the colorful costumes. Way better than the browns and greys the MCU seems to prefer
“You’re not insured for this!” I love Spider-Man’s quips
I did this 21 years ago .... absolutely amazing....really a must do ❤️
This ride is so amazing. It’s cool how it feels like Spider-Man is on top of your car in the beginning.
Ikrrr I always thought it was actually happening 😭
Ikr! This Ride is Better than the One at Disneyland!
Im 25 and i remember the old version too. One of the best rides. Plus i've lived in Florida my entire life and have ridden this at least 100 times.
日本と一緒やね😎👍
The part where you go up and down a building is just super awesome.
One of the best rides ever made.
Hobgoblin throwing a bomb at the building and having the explosion come out the other side was always my favorite effect. This ride rules
Had a friend that was an engineer on this ride....she said that they constantly had to clean up vomit🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮
Oh god I can imagine. Forbidden journey is so bad that you can see stains on the bottom of the last dome screen carousel. Yuck
Why do people get so sick?
OMG that must have been awful! I feel so bad for her!! That’s like the worst job to have at a theme park, and you don’t even know it’s going to happen!! I wish some people would try to at least hold it in and I know it’s hard but to think of people who have to clean it up!! My mom almost got sick on the Forbidden Journey ride but she didn’t end up throwing up but she felt like it after the ride.
Bambi Bunny Probably because it looks so real on the screen but it’s fake so they get sick. Usually because of motion sickness. But to me I just think the ride is very fun and don’t throw up. But I wish people didn’t get sick on these types of rides.
corgiscutest 45 I LOVE the ride it is great....I just remember what she said...lol
Just came from the Spider-Man ride at Disney. Gotta say, Disney Imagineers didn't do a whole lot in the Imagination department for their version, and really mucked their ride up. 20 something years ago and this is holds up better than something that just came out recently.
My first (and unfortunately only!) trip to Orlando was about 10 years ago and this ride blew my mind! Its sooo good!!
Im glad I was able to take my girl to Universal in 2021 before this ride closes in 2024. Honestly the best ride at the park.
The Japan one is closing not this one
I was in universal last week and my friend and i loved it so much we literally rode it three times, i was shocked when i found out how old it is lmao its still amazing to this day, even the wait in line was immersive and had enough going on i wasnt bored, the effects are seriously awesome but im still glad theres a video of it i can come back to when i miss it. If you havent done it fr, definitely try to get there someday, its insanely awesome!!
One of the greatest, most immersive rides ive ever been on!
Fingers crossed the contract stipulation holds up
No way we losing this masterpiece of a ride
can you explain
It’s been a child hood bucket list item to go to Orlando for this
ユニバ行きてーーー
誰か一緒に行こやぁ

I'm a huge Spiderman fan. Love this ride!!
I remember when I got to ride in the front and had the whole entire ride vehicle to myself 🙏😇!!!!!! What an experience.
Came to see how realistic the roblox ride is compared to this turns out pretty damn spot on
I’m 23 now, went on this ride around 14 years ago. Times fly
I went 14 years ago! brilliant memories… i’m 30 now
Now THAT'S a fun ride! Good use of 3D and effects, awesome voice acting, fast music and pretty cars. This looks so fun to ride :D I would enjoy it for sure! It looks more fun than the lame Hotel Transilvania ride with too much space, slow cars, loud music and barely moving animatronics.
LOVE this ride!!
This and the transformers ride are absolutely awesome. don’t think anything could beat universal and islands of adventures rides
That is an awesome looking ride!
I love the spider man ride
