Universal, even if you strip 3D from every other experience please don't ever take it away from Spiderman where it is implemented at its very best.

great video! one thing you missed was that when forbidden journey first opened, for at least a year, there were more than double physical dementors you see on the ride that come out and fly by. i have a friend who was a ride attendant during the opening year who pointed it out to me. they can actually still be seen today through those scenes if you look up towards the ceiling of the ride at those parts. just a bunch of disabled dementor animatronics. they were disabled due to guests complaining the ride was too scary for children to enjoy. i argue they’re more scary just sitting there! check it out next time if you didn’t know!
Fun fact universal also quieted down the Hulk coaster so they would not get the noise ordinance violation fine they got every day running the ride early or late in the day

I love the 3D screen at universal. I feel like that's what universal is all about and I get that. Some people get motion sickness but there's lots of rides and experiences that aren't 3D. I feel like the point of the park is that you're on a movie lot looking at some of the best movie screens in America. 3d is one of the best parts of movie magic and I definitely preferred Kong as a 3D ride
I knew I remembered the Incredible Hulk ride saying “Danger” as we shot out. I really thought I was trippin for a moment 😂 my mom took me as a kid, and the first time I went back was 2019, and then I went again last year. Also, on the screen topic, I don’t dislike the screens because they make me dizzy or anything, I dislike them because animatronics are better. You can actually get a sense of realism out of it, even when you know it’s not alive because it’s actually there, in person, a solid thing, instead of a screen that just takes me out of the immersion. That’s why I hated when a Universal Hollywood added screen to the Jurassic Park River ride. The animatronics were amazing to see, but then you have this screen Mosasaurus, and it just completely breaks the immersion. I just prefer practical effects and animatronics to CGI & screens 🤷🏾♂️

@VincentVision with the video coming from the servers it was compressed. With binloopes, the video is uncompressed, giving you better color and a sharper image.
Really disappointed to hear Kong's had it 3D removed. Part of what maintain's the illusion is the shade of the 3D glasses hiding the electrics otherwise visible off-screen.
Didn't they reduce some of the jerkness on Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey as well so it would be less nausea inducing? I still get a little motion sickness when riding it, can't imagine how bad it was before.
Universal's Marvel Super Hero Island is also why there is no Avengers Campus at WDW. Because of that old contract between Universal and Marvel Comics, no other theme park within the U.S. located east of the Mississippi River can have Marvel characters appear in it. This also affects the Disney Cruises that cast off from the East Coast. The Marvel characters cannot be seen on board until the cruise reaches international waters or else they risk violating the Universal contract.

Haha my friend once said the ride is a simulation of getting beat up by the hulk 😭 Pre renovation and post renovation, it's just as rough 💀 maybe we got weak necks
I hear ya. I don't ride Hulk too often anymore because of that. It needs another refresh. Maybe switch to a lap bar system like all the new coasters do now. Hulk isn't as bad as Kumba in Busch Gardens, but it's getting close.
I went to universal at the beginning of last year and when we were going to cabana bay the driver for our transportation said that they changed the Incredible Hulk to the green monster.
Stan also runs away with a lady in the city scene, then almost gets hit when You drop into the web and then he is talking to the police at the very end. And his voice welcoming You back at ride closure is spectacular as well.
Only downside to Secret Playlist on Rip Ride Rockit is that they don’t tape you on the rollercoaster. Also Rainbow Connection on the ride is a total experience! That’s the song I choose for my first time on the ride and I was laughing the entire time!
Yeah they changed the Harry Potter ride in Japan to 3D and then dropped it but kept the goofier looking dragon that forces itself in your face right before you get a close up of it.
I went in 2022 and I noticed the field of all these rides we're different I just couldn't put my finger on what it was 🔥 thank you for letting me know I'm not crazy 🤣
I swear, when Forbidden Journey first got updated, when the dragon was roaring and breathing fire at you before the scene ends, there was no roaring sounds there…!
We’re here at the moment and I normally love rip ride rocket but this time it was so so shaky it made my brain hurt :( I really hope they can smooth it out
This is what I think. Can you make the same video? But the difference between rides that were years before this like The Terminator 3.D ride battle across time and the original king kong ride
Vincent, I’ve been to Orlando, Florida this month for ten days. Do you know that “The Land of Make Believe” was filmed at Universal Orlando Resort and Discovery Cove?
Just got back from a trip to Orlando, and I had a blast, but I was VERY upset that Kong was no longer in 3D and they had cut out the whole first section outside. It very much felt underwhelming without the 3D, I could tell from the mud worm that comes right at you before the girl starts shooting them.
I think removing 3D from Kong is a major downgrade. It makes it feel so much less immersive and puts in on par with F&F Supercharged, especially now that the ride vehicles don’t do the outside portion of the track. Taking something that was made for 3D and un-3Ding it seems like a budget cut because they don’t feel like paying people to clean the glasses. I rode it a few times this past week without the 3D and every scene was blurry. I’ve added it to my “not worth riding” list.
Yeah… it used to say “I think it’s going to work” and it was LOUD! I can’t believe they made it less loud, that explains why it was less impressive the last time I rode it. I couldn’t put my finger on what had changed, it’s Quiet now…
Secret song list never works for me on rockit. I got it to work one time. All the other times, I'd be holding down the logo on the screen right when I sat down, and nothing would pop up, or it would pop up too late. I think a lot of times when the team members are pushing the lap bar, that screws it up for me.
I feel like 3D is pivotal for certain attractions. Personally, I think Universal should remove rides that don’t utilize them for newer rides including: Minion Mayhem, Fast and Furious, Simpsons, and King Kong. I think by doing that you would also eliminate the complaint that Uni has too many screen based rides. That would only be 3 for Studios and 2 for Islands
I wish Simpsons got a refresh. That projection really needs a HD update, it's so blurry.
Dude, for real man, and it’s amazing the 3D but really dated.
They won't. Simpsons has to be gone by 2028 due to Disney buying out Fox, and the original contract ending. Just isn't worth it.
@@ImAlterlol such a shame as the theming for Springfield is so good. My kids absolutely love it...I do too.

5:50 if i remember correctly he appears at the end in J. Jonah Jameson office above riders heads
Great video, very informative
Stan also runs away with a lady in the city scene, then almost gets hit when You drop into the web and then he is talking to the police at the very end. And his voice welcoming You back at ride closure is spectacular as well.
@VincentVision I’ve Been on the Spider Man Ride Once and I’ve only seen Stan Lee Cameo Once I hadn’t seen Him 4 Times on the Ride
Great video 👌🏼👌🏼
Vincent posts….. I click 🤠
Another ride that got changed is cat and the hat. It used to spin a lot faster.
Whyyy would Kong get rid of the 3D, that was the best part. Feeling like you were there. 😢
I went in 2022 and I noticed the field of all these rides we're different I just couldn't put my finger on what it was 🔥 thank you for letting me know I'm not crazy 🤣
Stellar Video
I swear, when Forbidden Journey first got updated, when the dragon was roaring and breathing fire at you before the scene ends, there was no roaring sounds there…!
We’re here at the moment and I normally love rip ride rocket but this time it was so so shaky it made my brain hurt :( I really hope they can smooth it out
Great video! But more importantly…where is that awesome shirt from that you’re wearing?!
Excellent video
A new Transformers ride would be awesome
Forbidden Journey always makes me sick
I'm only saw him twice when he was driving the turnk and at the end
Forbidden journey went from projecting your faces to just skulls and then just back to your faces
Oh really?? That was a long gone effect from the original version of the ride
@@VincentVision ye but when I went back this year it had it the second day I was there
i like this video
But what about *The Jurassic Park River Adventure?*
On Hollywood’s Rip Ride Rockit if you put in the code 904 you will get a Disney song
Didnt the old hulk also have carts with your feet dangling?
3d was awesome on the minions and when they took it away it made it alot worse but it works for kong
