Great comment! When you think about how to teach, watch carefully how students learn. Everyone needs practice: lots and lots of it, over and over. Honestly, that's why I think people like these videos. Because most other places (textbooks, other videos, etc.), they'll be like, "OK, here's one example, got it? Next topic!" But that's not nearly enough for students to get comfortable. Also, explain things SLOWLY, step by step. Take nothing for granted. Message me if you wanna talk about teaching.

"message me if..." I can't believe how generous you are with your time. Making these videos is altruistic enough but then you go above and beyond by offering additional help. I don't think you realize how much of an impact you've had on students around the world. Thank you for sharing your gift.

Tyler, I am a fifty-one year old returning student and I sit next to another adult student. There are A LOT of times when we don't understand what our professor is talking about. We'll look to each other after class and say, "I'll have to have the blond haired kid explain it to me." Thank you very much. You make a difficult class very easy.

VSEPR chewed up my mind in class. I felt as if I understood it but by the time I reached home and tried to practice, I felt lost. I tried to read the chapter from my books, didn’t understand a thing. As a last resort, I turned to UA-cam and found your videos. I understood the concept in one video. Thank you.

Thank you THANK YOU thank you so much. Chemistry actually makes sense to me after watching your videos. My chemistry professor is HORRIBLE at making things fun and simple. He often goes on rants about extremely advanced chem ideas, but skims over the basic things we need to know to be successful in the class. I appreciate your amazing ability to explain this subject SO MUCH. I'm great at Biology and Math, but Chemistry has always been like a different language to me. I'm finally (after multiple attempts at the class) beginning to understand these ideas.

Thank you so much, I was so intimidated by VSEPR theory before this video and I am so much more comfortable now.

Great videos Tyler. I'm a Chemistry teacher setting on-line work for my students during the COVID-19 lockdown in Australia. I have been directing my students to your videos becasue you teach (an explain) just the way I would. I love how methodical you are - repetition of process is the best way for us to learn. Thank you

Great videos!!!!! Your teaching style is slow & steady; which allows maximum consumption of all the material. Keep up the good good work.

Whoa, I time traveled. The intro to VSEPR video was uploaded August, and this followup video was uploaded July. All things are possible in chemistry.
