    My Chem lab teacher talked about this in class for 2 full hours using balloons. Everyone was so lost. He never even mentioned that the lone electron pairs is what pushes and creates the bent shape. He just kept repeating the words shape families and subclasses. I couldn't figure out how a triginalplaner could be a family AND a subclass. Just using the words "Based on because a molecule is not there" made it CAKE! I know it 100% now thanks!!!

    you are the one who deserves the credit for my good score in chemistry. I didn't understood vsepr until I watched your video, I've also watched your redox videos. Once more I'm very very thankful of you, you are one of the best teacher in world.
    Lately I've been having a hard time solving problems related to hybridization and dipole moment, would you please make a video on those topics too?

  • @Muhammad_saad5
    @Muhammad_saad5 5 місяців тому +1

    This teacher takes so much effort for making us understand the topics using analogy, shapes and life example as if like we are children to learn these topics. And that’s very rare too see around from the teachers nowadays. This just shows how valuable Tyler is, he is worth more than a noble prize helping other students to fully understand difficult topics as if like none else can even come close. ❤❤ Keep it up!

    So first off, it's not exactly 107 degrees. It depends on the molecule. In some, it's a little bit more, and in others, it's a little bit less. So it's better to say that it's "around" 107 degrees. But where do we get that number? We don't just make it up--we take molecules and use sophisticated tools to measure the angle between the bonds. So 107º isn't a number you could come up with out of thin air. You actually need to take some real molecules, measure them, and see what the number is.
