It's difficult at the beginning to do it but it make sense as your hands don't get locked in

      Hi there,
Thanks for asking. This is a step by step guide to steer to the left or to the right. So, do te step one, then 2 and then 3. It needs practice. If you don't mind practicing while stationary, will help you understand it easier. I have recorded myself doing it in another video which I might up load at some point. So, watch the space.... Cheers

Can work but a lousy way to turn the steering. Hand over hand preffered.

Thanks Steve. Would you know the dangers of crossing hands when steering and benefits of pull & push method?

@@assistthelearnerdriver2912In my country we learn crossing hands, we have more control over the wheel and it's way more fluid, the steering is way faster with this method, I'm curious, what's dangerous about it because I have no idea why having more control on your steering could be dangerous? 1st method there ua-cam.com/video/J3SDBmVcDXs/v-deo.html

Thanks for your comments. Will give you 2 of the dangers for free: 1- With crossing hands you can get stuck badly one day. 2- If you are in the habit of crossing hands then surely, in case of an accident you (out of habit) most likely will cross hands steer to the right or left to avoid it and in case if it happens then you own arm will break your nose badly when the airbag is deployed. Hope you understand (if you can imagine the scenario) and hope you stay safe & nothing happens to you 👍🙏

And which country are you in by the way?

@@assistthelearnerdriver2912 Switzerland, it's interesting because we have less deaths by habitants in car accident than the UK and we use the cross hands method. But it's not like we cross hands everytime, it's generally in low speed tight corners and turnabouts, we don't want to get spastic on the wheel with the push and pull method which is slower and doesn't feel natural in these situations. The first danger you mentioned seems a bit of a stretch, I've never heard someone getting stuck because of driving, for the other danger this could be possible indeed, idk if arms have been broken frequently because of the airbag but it could happen if you cross hands at this moment. Thanks for the reply 👍
