I worked as an "extra" on this movie. Played the part of a blackjack dealer at Debbie Reynold's Casino and a reporter at a police station.. It was a real treat seeing these ladies up close and in person. Shirley Maclaine was wonderful. During the police station scene, she looked at me and winked!
Debbie is such an extremly beautiful, kind lady. It shows how big her heart is for forgiving Liz. I hope her & her beloved daughter are resting in paradise, singing in the rain. Xx

To watch them exchanging those classy jabs and having such a great conversation actually lifts my spirits. So glad to see them talking as if they are still living. I enjoyed a great laugh from watching this. May Debbie and Elizabeth rest inpeace and the ones still here Shirley and Joan continue to enjoy good times.

It's an in-joke, since most people would have had no idea who Mengers was. Sadly, Liz can't manage Mengers' Brooklyn accent and comes off sounding more cockney than anything else. It's probably Liz's worst performance ever.
