They all must have had a lot of fun making this hysterical movie...ya gotta be in the business a long time and take some lumps to make fun of yourself like this!!!
This was a lot of FUN!!! A little teaser about the movie for me before I get to see it! :D I can imagine how much you love seeing Shirley and Joan together in action!!! Love those 1:06 pictures, haha!!! So Shirley gets to take a match with Anne Bancroft in Turning Point and here with Joan Collins! ;D Love the hug in 2:50!!
Met Shirley McLaine about 15 years ago. She was the MEANEST malcontented person I have ever encountered! Most unpleasant and even cruel at times. (Private Story) Just take my word for it as to how disappointed I was with her negative attitude. She needs the Lord DESPERATELY!!!
There's so much real history between these four women, just like the characters they play here. Joan and Elizabeth had known each other since the mid-50's as the two young British actress's in Hollywood- and of course we know Elizabeth stole Debbie Reynolds husband Eddie Fisher. Oh and Joan Collins once lived with Shirley's brother, Warren Beatty a long time ago.
+Rafael Storm being born in Britain means she could (and did) claim British citizenship as well as American. I didn't realise her parents were American, but saying Elizabeth Taylor was British is not in itself incorrect. I'll accept maybe her and Joan didn't share as much of a bond over their 'Britishness' as I may have thought they did, but they certainly knew each other back in the 50's- and Joan was always seen as a bit of a B-List Liz Taylor. :)
Rafael Storm Oh shut up! She was born in London- lived there til she was 6, and she was made a Dame of the British Empire by our Queen. She's British enough to be British and American enough to be America. Chill out!
Awesome tribute! ♥ I love how you included Elizabeth and how Shirley and others pick Liz to the stage and I love their faces at 3:50!! They are having a good time!!!! And then: Elizabeth Taylor sends her love to me!!! ♥ Sofia is being the messenger:) The words are as precious now as if they really were from Elizabeth!:) I'm extremely thrilled you immortalized me into your awesome, funny and loving tribute!!! This was a treat and I will surely add it into my awesome memories video collection!!! ♥
@Melisbeth86 Omg, thanks you so much for these precious comments, MEli! HAHa, I know, that 'jail'scene was hilarious! Ohh I love seeing both of them together :):) I really like Debbie Reynolds too but I felt that this vidclip should be dedicated to Shirley & Joan only.. and Elizabeth at the end, of course. I LOVE that hug Awwwwww.. that's why I put it in slow motion. :)
I love this movie... I LOVE Debbie Reynolds and I like Shirley MacLaine... I really don't know anything at all about Joan Collins... I don't like Elizabeth Taylor because of what she did to Debbie Reynolds...
I just watched my DVD last night, and it remains as fresh and as entertaining as ever!
Rafael Storm really. That is a lie

+rix16 Elizabeth Taylor wasn't "British". She was born in London of American parents from Kansas.

+Rafael Storm she had British citizenship. She was also made a dame.
thekingofmoney2000 She was born in London to Americans from fucking KANSAS! She had dual citizenship, but she was NOT a "British actress".

PepsiMama2 yeah get over it, Debbie forgave Elizabeth and so did Carrie and her brother
You should watch the original Dynasty. She was amazing. This movie introduced me to her.
You don't know Dame Joan Collins? She's been in movies since the early 50s and also starred as Alexis Carrington in Dynasty.
Looks pretty bad.. just found it on TV.. one of those independent stations that play so so movies..
