    Thanks for posting this! I have been looking for an alternative to hydration bladders... this looks like a much better system.

    How do you like the distance 22? I was thinking of using the distance 15 as a run commute bag

    • @OutdoorOtaku
      @OutdoorOtaku  11 місяців тому

      straps too thin for my liking. I have a review of it on my channel. i dont think the shape of it will fit a laptop well either.
      If you plan to run commute i'd stick with something like the aonijie c9111. thicker straps, better shape, and more rigid removable frame.

      @@OutdoorOtaku I agree on the straps. Thank YOU!

      my pleasure. here is another recommendation that i know about from a commenter:
      www.waa-ultra.com/en/ultrabag-20l.html
      I have not tested it myself, however there are good reviews online. It has some features that i believe would make it a great commute bag. for example the interior net for a laptop and 270 zip.

    dont suppose you've seen any bottles similar in a 800ml? looks like they don't make the raidlight r-go anymore and I can't find it anywhere, nor any alternatives

      unfortunately not. yeah i noticed they discontinued them in favor of a round one. My guess is to save costs. a shame... If you want a cheap round bottle with the straw then aonijie has a round one thats $10 on ali.
      I'd suggest checking ebay for the bottle. some packs also came with the bottles. however then you'd have to buy a pack just for the bottles... fair warning- im not a fan of raidlight packs so far (legend 24l and revolutiv ul 24l) .
      I plan to experiment with a bottle from amphipod and see if it fits the cap and straw from the aonijie bottle. It seems that a lot of hand bottles are slightly contoured. if you can find one that's a good shape then you just gotta trial and error to see what cap fits with it.
      If i ever find something ill be sure to share.

      actually the amphipod bottle is only 20 oz or 600 ml. not as much as the raidlight but decent.
      also another idea i had was to take a heat gun to the aonijie bottle to try to mold it. however im not even sure if it'll work or what affect that will have on the plastic.

      @aiffskull 6 місяців тому +1

      alright thanks. ya I probably wouldn't mess with melting plastic for your drinking water. i picked up that aonijie 30l pack and the r-go looked like it'd work and be easy to refill. might just do this belt bottle think though, or just carry a normal pet bottle

    • @OutdoorOtaku
      @OutdoorOtaku  6 місяців тому

      yea you right.
      r-go lookalike? the aonijie one?
      the belt is good just cant hold a lot.
      There's the straw that attaches to the bottle option.
      I'm also exploring a new water carrying solution. it's a water container (hard) that is supposed to fit into a airsoft/military vest. I can't seem to find a link, but just imagine a hard bladder pack. it's kinda shit though. leaking a bit. if i can find a fix then ill make a post

      the bottles are on the raidlight site!
      www.shopraidlight.com/discount-soft-flask-raidlight-r-go-800ml/
      www.shopraidlight.com/shop-bottle-raidlightr-go-bottle-drink-valve-600ml-neutral/
      edit- i just noticed that this may be a scam site. im going to email them to double check
