Your hihat 16ths throughout are perfect. You’re right, the timing is a little sketch on those intro parts. Nobody judging you hard. You actually quite literally nailed this song. Love finding these older/missed episodes. Lots of good stuff, ma’man!

Amazing job!!! Stop apologizing. NO NEED. I myself am a massive Zep fan and have on many occations thought about just how thunderous the drums are. Being a beginner drummer myself I can hear not just the complexity but also the passion for his work in the music. At the end of that song you can just see JB standing up and saying "THATS GONNA BE THE ONE"!! Truly a fantastic job. The only way to play that song is to FEEL that song. In every version of IMTOD he never plays it the way he did when he recorded for the album. It is one of the best and often not appreciated for what it was and is...

I'm not a drummer, but just as a listener, I also find the rest space really hard to time, I'm always like 1,2,3,4, and its more like 6.5 (Bonham always being behind the beat).

You not only nailed this song, I can't believe you are spot on with his drum sound especially the bass drum. Bonzo's drums had a unique sound that I can't tie to any other drummers. Attention to detail is seriously impressive. A joy to watch. You mention Bonham's age and that was one of the first things I thought about Good Times Bad Times. I used to think I am much younger I will be playing that by 16. Who was I kidding. I did play it a few times though mid 20's. I never played this one though as too bluesy for any of my bands and too complicated. We were punks who occasionally played rock covers occasionally.

Anyway, I am also a 40s drummer who says SORRY to my band mates when I miss something. Anyway, I'm trying to learn to let it ride - they most likely didn't notice. Musicians are almost always WAY harder on themselves than others are, unless you're "The" Bruce Dickinson and keep demanding more cowbell
