- Well, here goes! We're going to try our first multicast across both UA-cam and Twitch! I will be responding to chat over on / cityplannerplays , so feel free to swing by if you'd like to chat, or stay here if you'd just like to chill out and watch.
We'll continue work on Newmarketnow Tombstown -... a city we started a few weeks back on Twitch. It isn't much right now - 20 blocks and a strangely elaborate cemetery. I've got plans for Tombstown that include pumping the population to at least 150k as quickly as we can.

@ 1:19:44 - download mod called preserve photo mode or something of the sort, it should save photo (Not Potato) mode settings when you back out of PM and should help resolve Potato Mode

I don’t know if this is appropriate but I am studying urban planning in the Netherlands and our class would absolutely love it if you could do a quick lecture or q&a on regional planning in the US.

A neat idea for your sub counter could be making it like the population counter. Green arrows up on the right when you get subs, and red arrows down on the left when one runs out!

Yes, FCO is a great airport! Good train connection to the city, easy to navigate terminal access and concourse. Btw, I actually remember LAX being worse than ORD. Also from the Midwest btw!

I tried playing Cities 2 the other day and had to stop. It was Fall, the ground was already coated in snow, and I was trying to rebuild my industry area. I've really been trying to avoid things like Dev mode and mods before official release but I just can't.. It is visually unplayable.

Hilarious that you said you can find me from the first Bluffside Crossing. A year or so ago, i literally just randomly googled Phil, city planner, madison Wisconsin after i caught up on Clearwater County.
At o’hare it never fails. If you come in on A10 your connecting gate will be D40. The worst airport I have been in is Houston. I have had to walk over a mile and a half to a gate.

What's the rodecaster/streamdeck device on your desk CPP?
That's a RODECaster Pro II. Total overkill and if I were buying today would get the Duo instead. Basically, it allows me to mix between my Mac and PC and have two mics connected at all times. It also has amazing presets for common microphones and allows you to save audio presets on the device. Amazing device, totally overkill... very happy to have it.

Looks like a great game but after reading the reviews on Steam this is just an underdeveloped game wich only purpase was to bring in cash quickly
Yeah, I’m confident it WILL be an excellent game, but as it stands right now, its predecessor is still stronger than it in most areas and I agree with the awards’ decision to give the Sim/Strategy category to Pikmin. It’s just such a POLISHED experience.

I mean the devs wanted to make a good game, probably. But it ended up unfinished, mostly outsourced, and worse than cities skylines 1. Shareholders and executives needed profit so they forced a release in that kind of state. Best thing to do is avoid buying the game for now, to send them the message that this isn't how they should release games going forward.
While I agree that the game needs some polishing and improvements with future updates, I think it’s unfair to label it as a “cash grab.” There’s no way the devs put in all the work that they did, building such a solid base to improve upon the first game for the sake of a “quick” cash grab. I’ve been playing and enjoying CS2 and haven’t even thought about going back to CS1, which is my opinion sure, but don’t undermine the devs work
