Wow that's an amazing hack. I have been using ready-made larger pie crusts for years. But these mini crusts look great. I will look for them 😊
Me too. I used to buy large pie crust and make egg pie . I found this mini tart size by accident. Thanks for watching.

Hi , my co newyorker ( I live in 7th Ave/ 54 st. Brooklyn NYC 1988 to 1991 ) Nice that you made some.
Looks so delicious 💖 Nice video 💖 Thank you for sharing 💖
Thank you so much 🙂
They don't sell those premade tart shells here, so I am stuck making them but that's okay I don't mind.
They look good!
They do look good! I used to make mine from rolled up sheets of Pepperidge puff pastry sliced to fit.
We ate a lot of these growing up and we called them Pasteis de Nata ou Pasteis de Belem. The 200 year old original bakery is still operating in mainland Portugal. YT has videos of it. I can't figure out how they are so popular in China.
Todd/ Yes, as Betty suggested. Make those crust / shell from puff pastry mix ( available in groceries ) Thanks for watching.
Betty: Thanks for suggesting and also Thanks for watching.

Hello Chef. I'm not into desserts but I know my girlfriend would love this. Actually, she bought a large bag of flour yesterday so she's bound to do some type of baking. As for me, I'm always "wok"ing. Been using a lot of yu choy, bok choy and broccoli as of late so I'm sure I'll wok up something special. Until next time Chef.
It's good your GF love baking. I'm sure you be able again to create your own veggie wok cooking. Thanks for watching.
I can't stand egg custard pies or tarts.
I see. Thanks for watching.
So what?
