To be honest, if I were to turn off the news and social media, I wouldn’t know any of this were going on where I live. I live around Dallas/ Fort Worth, Texas, where the populations are roughly 40% Hispanic/ Latino, 20% black and 30% white with Asians at a smaller percentage. Everyone gets along and is friendly. If there are racists, they are a very small minority with no influence on general public life and safety. But there are definitely other cities with more racial problems. It just isn’t always like what you see on TV in every place. But with CRT ideology, it is like reigniting the dying fire of racism instead of teaching that we have overcome it.

Regarding "the slap"... If you think about it, it was a very gentle joke. First of all, he prepared them by saying he loved them. Then when he makes the joke, it really is the most complimentary joke. If you saw GI Jane, Demi Moore's character CHOSE to shave her head so she can better handle navy seal training and it's demands. GI Jane is a badass in the movie. And instead of taking the compliment-fake joke in stride, she chose to get uppity. Think about ALL THE OTHER jokes that have been made at a celebrity's expense. Some are mean and so obviously ill-spirited. Now compare that to the candyass delivery of Chris Rock, who literally took their feelings into consideration and curbed his joke with an I-love-you preface and a "badass" compliment and then tell me that his joke was mean or in poor taste. It wasn't at all. That was the nicest insult from any comedian ever.

I just find it odd. I think if she was truly that self-conscious...she has millions of dollars to buy the wig of her choice...why would she go out bald? I see black woman with wigs and hair extensions all day in the real world.

Regarding "the slap"...
If you think about it, it was a very gentle joke. First of all, he prepared them by saying he loved them. Then when he makes the joke, it really is the most complimentary joke. If you saw GI Jane, Demi Moore's character CHOSE to shave her head so she can better handle navy seal training and it's demands. GI Jane is a badass in the movie. And instead of taking the compliment-fake joke in stride, she chose to get uppity.
Think about ALL THE OTHER jokes that have been made at a celebrity's expense. Some are mean and so obviously ill-spirited. Now compare that to the candyass delivery of Chris Rock, who literally took their feelings into consideration and curbed his joke with an I-love-you preface and a "badass" compliment and then tell me that his joke was mean or in poor taste.
It wasn't at all. That was the nicest insult from any comedian ever.

I totally agree. I have tried not to watch it but did listen to a “Christian” interview Will Smith and learned, I think, that Will was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness. Does anybody know if that’s true? I don’t think Will mentioned Jesus in the interview; he just claimed that he is one of God’s favorites. He suggested that his worldly success is proof of that. But the delusion of TV "popularity" and "authority" is now over, except for kids. So-called "smartphones" are next. Big Tech isn't really about tech. It's about ads. Big Ads is about surveillance.

I don't believe it, I think it was all just a set up to get attention, and it worked. Seems to me they knew no one was watching their self honoring award show and this got people talking, anyway looked fake to me and will Smith strikes me as a man that would use his fist not a girly slap.
Beth Moore is hilarious. She makes all this money off women who are in Southern Baptist churches and she gets name recognition through those ties. And now she can hardly post anything that doesn’t mention Southern Baptists in a shaming and a debased way? Give me a break. If she returned even 25 % of what she has made off of those countless women, I might have a tad more respect for her. To quote my dad, she’s gotten too big for her britches.
