Is the Epiphone Les Paul Custom Adam Jones the ultimate LP Custom? Well that depends on what you are looking for. If you are a Tool Fan, you love silverburst finishes and don’t mind paying for a signature collectable guitar - yes it is the ultimate LP Custom for you. However if you don’t care about Tool, AJ or Silverburst you might be better off with other options that I discuss. I also compared the Epiphone to my 2013 Gibson Les Paul Custom Silverburst.

I'm glad I waited for the Adam Jones 1979 Epiphone. For one, I didn't care for the art. It's for a specific taste. But it was at the top 5 guitars on my list.

Kinda a bummer some of these Adam Jones models are having such QC issues. You as well as many others have pointed out a multitude of flaws with these which is shocking considering the price. That being said, I'm incredibly happy with my Epiphone Jerry Cantrell Wino. Near flawless guitar as you too have mentioned. Hopefully the upcoming releases are cleaned up.

I think the berserker is the coolest one of that collection.
I played one of these yesterday in a store and it feels cheap. It's rediculous heavy as well. Like heavier than my Artist TC59 that I demoed a few years ago. The neck is super sticky and feels exactly the same as a Epiphone Les Paul standard or Epiphone Les Paul Custom You're paying 300% more for a Seymour Duncan pickup, a Silverburst finish and fake Schaller tuners that are not very precise and jump a bit as I discovered oh and a cheap plastic Epiphone hardcase. Also just below the Adam Jones hanging on the wall in the store was a Brand New Gibson SG standard in limited TV yellow for the same asking price. Beautiful👍And to the left was a Fender Ultra Strat for less than both. You'd have to be an absolute Smeg to buy a Chinese guitar over a US. I love AJ and have been listening to TOOL since the early 90s but no thanks man. It's Chinese. Premium prices and made in china should never be an actual thing in my book.😂

Thanks, damn I wanna see the Veil in person. I will look for one. The Veil and Berserker are gonna be the best ones in my opinion. I doubt anything will top them.
@GeorgeVGuitars I think you're right. I got lucky when I ordered mine, it sold out in just a few hours.
@@Zoso981 Also I think they are starting to lose some momentum, by the time we reach the forth one I think we will start seeing them in stock for a longer time. I thing Epi should have went with 3 instead of 7 guitars.
@GeorgeVGuitars I agree. Personally, I'm excited for the non-art version to be released. I heard that it will be the final model. Hopefully, it'll be cheaper too.

i play similar tones to him but with that Doom metal style to it and mostly instrumental

Epiphone is a great buy for the price but it’s so much more muddier than the Gibson Les Paul custom. 4:28
