The worst ending in the world for Jim would be if God exists. Russo is a Christian would likely go to heaven, and Jim would burn in hell for eternity. Vince Russo would have a permanent victory over him that he could never get back. What I’m saying is that Jim should probably convert to Christianity now so they can continue the feud in heaven.
I'm at 49:10. Jim is kinda right about how breaking kayfabe hurt the business, but he is also wrong. Reason? You still see fans getting engaged in the storylines and characters, just look at the live reactions. There is a big segment of "smart" fans, which is heard especially online, just like IDK Star Wars nerds. But there is a large amount of fans who simply are just fans, you see them online too, people who just comment on WWE YT channel stuff like "I love Randy Orion". And as we are becoming more closed off from each other post COVID, who knows, many fans will maybe even kinda forget about what is kayfabe more and more. And the irony is Jim's online followers are exclusively these smart fans.
breaking kayfabe allowed wrestling to reach its greatest heights, once vince mcmahon admitted that wrestling was entertainment it allowed for even more over the top storylines which the fans loved even more, but in jims opinion it also caused the business to quickly crash and burn out soon after
@@kerpal321 Yes, but you still have fans totally eating this shit up. Proof even if this is old that Jim was a mark for himself and thinks 1400 people in a gym in 1988 some how is relevant was stupid it’s all about TV revenue if at the time of this taping he knew better he was just taking a pay check working Mr. Oliver .
I’ve never liked listening to Cornys grip about religion because being an atheist and believing you’re just gonna become worm food when you’re dead makes no sense to me. That being said, aside from that he had a brilliant mind for wrestling. At least if you’re more of a fan of the of old days/kayfabe wrestling. The stuff they do now just doesn’t interest me. Why take the time to watch if there’s no believable storylines instead of them just going out and playing in the ring with no story behind it
Atheism makes a lot more sense than the belief that there's some sky daddy who cares about you but will send you to hell if you don't fellate him enough.
Wrestling is just a male soap opera but if you cant get immersed in the show and they start doing a lot of crazy shit to kill that immersion then it makes for a shitty tv show. you wanna be a superhero go try and make it in hollywood. lol, I love how UA-cam deleted my previous post. Trump is going to put his critics in jail. The first amendment is dead.
Oh boy
The worst ending in the world for Jim would be if God exists. Russo is a Christian would likely go to heaven, and Jim would burn in hell for eternity. Vince Russo would have a permanent victory over him that he could never get back. What I’m saying is that Jim should probably convert to Christianity now so they can continue the feud in heaven.
Russo is a Fake murican " Christian".
Part of being in heaven is having Russo free wrestling
Good thing none of us have to worry about that.
Idk I think god is still sending Russo to hell for some of his storylines. They were pretty bad.
@@matthewsmith5374 Or for his Bitch Slap pitch
I'm delighted Trump got in 🤣🤣🤣🤣😉
There's an omnibus Corny can do and like it 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You won’t be so happy next year when you lose everything
Cornette comes off to me as being a day late and a dollar short and he sees Russo come in and just take over.
"I'm not the one who's been fired from every place I've been, so..."
Kevin Steen
Neither is Cornette. Because, you know, he hasn't been fired from every place he's worked.
When did Cornette get fired by wwf? He walked out on his own terms
Frankly Jim easily could have quit long before he got fired many times
@xoynialedmc And by many, it's a grand total of twice.

I was at a WWE event live this year and two teenagers were next to me and the girl was SO genuinely invested in Sami, Becky, etc. and so genuinely invested in hating the bad guys.
real fandom still exists. maybe these people are aware this is just "sports theater", but they simply like it and get invested in it.
@@PiCheZvara Sure, but there are less of them then, way less of them, then back in the classic days.
Knowing much of what happens behind the scenes in wrestling is like watching the Making-of Documentary of a film before watching it.
@@takerdust that would be true only if you watched all the wrestling documentaries prior to start watching wrestling. interviews like the one with Cornette here are watched only by long time fans, literally no one else will watch it or even knows it exists.
Hey Jim 40% Hispanic vote
25% black men vote
You have no idea what politics is about
Wrong.
That may say it all, from the lips of our most recent guest on the series that seeks to get inside the people of the wrestling business.
"most recent"
When was this filmed? Recently?
like 2013, shortly after he left ROH anyway.
@@vinnie245 Thank you very much good sir, I guess this is a direct reupload, video description and all. 🤷♂
This was great.🫡👍
Jim’s views on religion and politics is laughable. Should stick to wrestling..
SNOWFLAKE
Trump won Cornette
9 minutes in, Sean is 100% in the wrong and JIM apologized. Unreal. Sean you need to check your privilege and humble yourself when you're wrong.
King Corny!!!!..
#cornylast2028
No way
Thank you for posting this 🥹. Somehow never saw this one
Didn’t this guy let big show sleep with his wife while he watched!? I don’t understand why people respect his opinions on anything!
Why would that taint his opinions? People are allowed to have colorful, consensual lives within the bedroom!
Rejoice, Corny! Dave Chappelle AND wrestling made a comeback 🎉

Unfortunately, so did Trump 😅
I agree with most of Jim's wrestling opinions, but when it comes to anything else he's so petty and such a narcissist, its embarrassing. He's not nearly as smart as he thinks he is.
He is fucking clueless with anything outside of wrestling, but then what do you expect when someones literal entire life is wrestling...
hi jim how you feel about trump steamrolling over scamalla
Trump is already putting neocons in his cabinet, it rules

Know? Lol
Maybe he's trying to learn about "one else"
Im gonna break kayfabe right now.
HEY JIM, TRUMP WON! SUCK IT.
🤡
@walterbradthau9525 Project 2025 is coming your way - SUCK IT!
After they finish coming for others they'll come for you - he's already got your vote so he doesn't need you any more. YOU are as disposable as the rest of us and he will use his powers to go after his enemies. If you haven't personally been invited by him to the oval office then in his eyes you're pond scum. For all the loyalty he receives from pond scum like you he shows NONE, just ask Michael Cohen etc. I'm MORE than happy for you to personally find this out the hard way. ENJOY!

Proof even if this is old that Jim was a mark for himself and thinks 1400 people in a gym in 1988 some how is relevant was stupid it’s all about TV revenue if at the time of this taping he knew better he was just taking a pay check working Mr. Oliver .
Lol, I can tell you’ve never been in the business. 1400 at a house show was a nice little pay day as a wrestler.
Why take the time to watch if there’s no believable storylines instead of them just going out and playing in the ring with no story behind it
Why does being atheist not making sense to you?
Atheism makes a lot more sense than the belief that there's some sky daddy who cares about you but will send you to hell if you don't fellate him enough.
Agreed 💯
Russos booking is way better than today. At the end of the day wrestling is a tv show.
Wrestling is just a male soap opera but if you cant get immersed in the show and they start doing a lot of crazy shit to kill that immersion then it makes for a shitty tv show. you wanna be a superhero go try and make it in hollywood. No one gonna believe a stick man can actually stand a chance in a fight against a muscle man that could easily snap them in half
@ yep i agree. That’s basically what wwe is.
The few times I have heard Russo talk lately, his takes have been a lot better, it's like he matured from his crash TV days.
