Sean is a guy who knows the right thing to do at times like this & has no problem making it happen. Seems like a class act from everything I’ve ever seen. Plus, taking a video or two from beyond the paywall + making them free for a while will do nothing to hurt financially and exposes more of his product to potential new paid subscribers.
The best of the BTTT bunch. Surprised when Kevin said no one ever touched Gordon Solie cause I'm pretty sure Sir Oliver Humperdink did once but Kevin may have been out of the territory by then. RIP Kevin.
Gordon had been touched by then, by Muraco on GCW. They had to do something to turn heel announcer Piper face because he'd been in the news for saving somebody from a mugging and getting stabbed (for reals).
different breed of men back then in 30 years if they did this type of interview with todays generation of wrestlers all the stories would be about how many stars they got in their matches and the video games they played with the other wrestlers after the matches
God, I miss him already. Glad to hear about the FL days, with others focusing so much on the 90s (this fascination over WCW/WWF from 93-01) and the bland booking he was forced to do for Hogan, plus the political bs with Bischoff, Nash and others. Even Meltzer said only a couple things about the 80s, going into HoganLand.
These discussions are great when it’s just two old friends having a conversation. Man, these last days must have been hard for Jim. Too many of his friends have passed these last four years.
You can believe that this was every bit a joy for Kevin and Jim to do as it was for us to watch. God bless Kevin, and thoughts are with your family and friends.
I honestly didn't know Kevin Passed away until I saw this post. I really thought maybe he would have 1 last run in the back if Tony ever realized he needed to hire a real booker lol. R.I.P Kevin
Kevin was from my area in Massachusetts.. had the opportunity to meet him on a few occasions.. solid dude who has to be recognized for his booking abilities! Levin knew how to draw 💰 May he rest easy 🙏 😔 😟
The Hy Gardner reference at 1:59:40. The show was Hy Gardner Calling and a clip of the Elvis interview was in the documentary This Is Elvis. Hy asked Elvis this question..."What about the rumor you once shot your mother?" Elvis just smiled wistfully and said..."Well that one takes the cake."

Gonna miss Kevin with his stories, etc....👹...RIP TASKMASTER
This might be my favorite Territory episode. The inner workings of the wrestling business in the 70s and 80s is fascinating.

What a great storyteller. When I was a kid, no one scared me as much as this guy while being undersized. He was truly a master of psychology. RIP 🙏
Kevin Sullivan had the greatest mind in the history of the business. RIP TASKMASTER.
RIP Kevin Sullivan.
This is the best back to the territories.
RIP Kevin. You made WCW watchable
Smoke up to the man KS
RIP Kevin!

Terry Funk’s “my horse is sick” when someone wanted him to come in and lose is the equivalent to a kid saying in school “my dog ate my homework”

You can see Corny turn into an excited kid again when he discusses Silver Age Wrestling 😃
@@allewis4008 Arguably the Bill Moyers of wrestling.

see you on the other side brother 🙏🍀
"Eddie Graham had a lotta newspaper men on the payroll" - RIP Kevin Corleone Sullivan
I love the time stamps and chapter list! You are a shining example to all the others!👍👍
Thank you so much for this upload! Love both of these guys and Sean for doing it.
RIP Kevin
most of the wrestlers they mention in this video are dead and now we lost the taskmaster time sucks
If there is a heaven it is the ultimate wrestling territory now
Now Kevin gets to be with Eddie and Mike, his adopted family.

56:00 Fix the chapter name 😆 *Solie* not Soley lol.
Thank you.
RIP
Wish I grew up in Florida instead of the Northeast where all I got was boring WWWF
Holy shit we actually have an available video quality above 240p. 1080p even!
Kind of. It's 720p stretched to 1080p.
34:27 And here’s me thinking the Rougeaus were the all American boys not Jack Brisco & Bob Backlund 🎶 All American boys, all American boys 🎶
He wasn't on the Orange Bowl show
Rip Kevin, you scare me as a kid
What is the 9/11 Eddie Theory they referenced?
Did he do it?
Rip kevin Sullivan
I think Backlund kinda looks like McMahons sorry
Gonna miss Kevin with his stories, etc....👹...RIP TASKMASTER
