They didn't send off kovavic for two yellow card tackles last season because they didn't want to ruin the match.... Okay and they say there's no corruption
Odegaard was playing basketball against Liverpool last season, all swings and roundabouts
Over the years arsenal are always the same when they don't win. They always blame the ref they are going on about all the injury time arsenal caused it them selves how many times did arsenal players go down injured
Make it make sense. I swear that Oliver is on payment from the city's
He is the same useless ref Oliver

Or you can say Arsenal have a history of bottling it.. Ref literally gifted Arsenal their first goal which changed all the momentum of the game, still bottlers found a way to bottle it.. Your players are too emotional always crying like little girls.. About the Red Card, Trossard knew what he was doing, you can't play with fire and then complain about brunt fingers.. I can't imagine any City or Liverpool players doing such stupid things that Arsenal players are doing every week.. and chill this doesn't change anything coz you were never going to win the title..
My problem with Referees has always been inconsistency. Nothing has changed
There was consistency. Doku kicked the ball back to where the freekick was given. Trossard booted it away.
@@EPLFAN exactly... 😅
But they love the power they have. Decision one minute. No decision the next. However, as skeptical as i am, refs will still just plain get it wrong sometimes, everything is happening so fast, and they will continue to do so. That’s why good old Var was brought in!! 🙄
@@EPLFANhe cleared the ball, at half time, when a team is defending, oh wow, like that's not normal. It was also 0,84 of a second after the whistle, that's not exactly late, his body was already in motion to kick it. & yes that's likely what Jeremy did, but he still can't do that, it's the team with the ball responsibility to move it, he wasn't quite in possession of the bank, then maybe I could understand

Michael Oliver needs investigating.
Why?
There needs to be an audit and Premier League need to intervene because it’s a s*** show.
Look at how UEFA react, they know premier league officiating is at an all time low point. Micheal Oliver is the only ref they hire and it’s clearly for diplomacy and politics that they have to have an English ref in there somewhere.
This is a guy who’s record of games with controversial decisions going Man City’s way fills a Wikipedia page.
Kovacic at Emirates last season
Luis Diaz given offside at Anfield vs city last season
McAllister taken out in the box by Doku.
Arsenal surely have to try stop him reffing this fixture ever again
You know Man Cheaty paid Micheal Oliver to officiate a Saudi league game In September last year where they paid him hugely inflated wages
To make sure he’s not in the pocket of Man city owners.Wouldnt be the first time in this sport nor the last.
he already been investigated, city has paid him 20k in the past
Talksport refuse to even call out the inconsistency with the refs. It’s embarrassing
They're in cities pockets too just like sky sports
When kovacic should’ve been sent off last season they said they didn’t send him off cos he didn’t want to affect the flow of the game but sent Trossard off without a second thought

Trossard is playing this into space for Martinelli on the break. There is 0.5 seconds between the whistle being blown & Trossard touching the ball. Look where the ball lands, this isn’t booted away at all. This is a pass into Martinelli’s path on the break.

Hes thumped it 100ft in the air hes passing it to nobody i dont get how anyone can argue with the second yellow the rules are the rules arsenal players are lacking discipline this season first rice and now trossard they know the rules could cost arsenal the title them 2 idiotic moments.
It was deliberate action by the Ref ... that would never be an Yellow card in a Champions League game.
Hey John, what is it like being a 🤡
Agreed bro, they did this against Liverpool against City too... City have bought the title remember, Liverpool and Arsenal are fighting a battle
The ref killed the game by giving trossard red what happened to I don’t want to ruined the game last season and what about szobozalai against forest in a match he ref
Football games need a game clock that's independent of the referees. When the balls out of play the clock stops. No more time wasting games, no more goal keepers taking 3 minutes to kick the ball out. No more pretending to be injured. It's boring to watch and it's shortchanging an audience that pays a lot of money to watch this nonsense
I have always rated Michael Oliver as one of the top referees, if not the best, but he ruined this match by sending Trossard off. The first booking was "out of order", never a yellow card!
They were both yellows

This is what the prem wants, they don’t want Arsenal winning the league! 0.5 sec between trossard kicking the ball and the ref sent him off! Where’s common sense! The same ref who did give kovacic a second yellow card for something much worse last season! I’m fed up because it’s always Arsenal! So why not give doku a yellow for doing the same thing!!
Surprisingly they actually do want Arsenal to win. They are worried about Man Cheaty winning the league too many times. The Premier League is popular because of the competition in the league and they don't want the same team winning every season. The problem is these corrupt refs
They don't want to say it's corruption.
0.5 seconds between the whistle and kicking the ball, with a stadium full of 54thousand screaming fans. Duko kicks the ball away seconds after commenting the foul and no card. Honestly if this doesn’t change I won’t be surprised in years to come, im sitting on my sofa watching a documentary about how corrupted the PL is

Pierce is right on this one. Officiating in English football is so bad i watch other leagues just because they have higher standards of officiating.
Having Morgan on this show is the personification of sports washing.
How and why?!
A ref shouldn’t have to tell a experienced player about his positioning walker should no better no excuses doku kicks the ball away gets nothing
Man City celebrated second goal (for a draw) as if they just won the league at their own stadium. I repeat, Man City celebrated a 'draw' as if they just won the championship and this happened at their own stadium. In fact Harland threw the ball on Gabriel's head right after the second goal. That incident alone should tell us the quality difference of Arsenal last season compared to this season.
What are you talking about you clown as if they wouldn’t celebrate after Arsenal feigning injury for 45 mins, if they didn’t time waste City would not have got the 2nd goal
To be fair, they normally do win the league. .
No they celebrated getting an equaliser against a title rival, I repeat celebrated getting an equaliser against a title rival.
The second half alone proves arsenal are exactly the same as last season.
Teams celebrate surviving relegation, eve wit a draw or loss depending on results elsewhere. So why not celebrate surviving a home loss at the last minute?
Trossard clearly didn’t hear the whistle. All the players around Trossard were also playing on.

Talksport is to sport is what Sky News is to politics
I am so sick of these pundits and fans that are so deluded to think that "big games" are isolated from red cards. If a player commits a foul, then they are booked. If it continues, they are sent off. Regardless of the game, team, player, or which stage of the season we are at. It was the same when Reece James got sent off against Liverpool for handball on the line. Tuchel was enraged they he got sent off as the penalty given was enough of a punishment and the red card ruined the game. Then, at Stamford Bridge, the same season, the same fixture, Mane elbowed a Chelsea player in the first 2 minutes, and he wanted him sent off. No complaints then about ruining the game. A foul is a foul. These "elite" teams have enough players and talent to manage playing 10 v 11. Or they should have. If this happened between Ipswich v Southampton, there would be no comments. Sick of jt
I'm really confused
In the first half the board said 6 minutes added on, yet Trossard got sent off in the 53rd minute. From my understanding 45 + 6 makes 51
Then in the second half the board said 7 minutes added on yet Manchester City scored in the 98th minute.
From my understanding 90 + 7 makes 97 yet City scored in the 98th minute.
Also Trossard gets sent off for kicking the ball away but Doku don't.
Haaland throws the ball at Gabriels head and nothing is done.
Man City were lucky today, very lucky.
Additional time was added for arsenal's time wasting, read the rules bro
Arsenal time wasting the whole game going down with "cramps" hashahah
Craziest thing was there was 7 mins added on second half.
The ball was in play for the most minutes out of any game this entire season lol. Yet they added on the most amount of time so far this season. Add everything up and it seems dodgy.
Let me help you understand. Time added on is the minimum time extra but will be extended if there is more stoppages in that added on time which there was plenty of.
Trossard wasn’t sent off for kicking the ball away, he was booked. Doku didn’t kick the ball away he kicked it back to where the ref was pointing to take the free kick so no booking.
Haaland was a bit of fun, maybe should have been booked. Hope this helps you understand better 👍
@@garyoneill9863 there you have it folks.

What about Bernardo silva? What about when he done it. Is that a bit of fun too? You’ll never admit it’s a referee choice to not send these players off so what’s the point in ur comment lmao
That's the best English ref by the way..just deep that. Thats the best they can offer and they wonder why they don't respect English referees in European and world competitions
Hiss
I wanted Arsenal to win this game but by the letter of the law the sending off was justified but criticism of the ref may also be justified. I would also say that under Arteta Arsenal have become a very cynical side when it comes to breaking up a game with time wasting tactics.
As a neutral, in football, things always even out.
Nothing has been evened out against Man City in the last few years especially. Something is wrong.
Not an arsenal or city fan, my issue is the referees. Last season they cost Liverpool a title and nobody was held accountable for their mistakes. This year all the same referees are back and still making it all about themselves. They need to grow up, if it’s blatant time wasting book the player.. but if it’s a split second later they need to show the players more respect and avoid sending players off for such minor offences.. in the forest Brighton game Gibbs white nearly broke Jao pedros leg and only got a yellow.. they’ve got their priorities all wrong .
The most impressive thing is talksport actually finding a Man City fan over the age of 8 well played.
Also no mention of Reuben elbowing Havertz in the face when he was already on a yellow card, or Haaland taking out Gabriel and Partey. Or the 2 times that the entire city team surrounded the ref. Also the magical inury time that was given to city, everyone complained last season about injury time being too long but man city get extra extra injury time until they score, absolute joke.
Trossard should’ve known better, you are on a yelllow you don’t give the ref a decision to make .
Well if the manager keeps blaming refs for applying the rules and not calling his players to account for kicking the ball away I imagine it's gonna happen a few other times to Arsenal. More than other teams.
The audacity of Arsenal fans saying robbed when the only real 100 prc mistake was on their first goal😂
Mikel Arteta knows Pep Guardiola he weren't gonna fall for his tricks and be like Tottenham, attack with 10 men
Arteta must stop trying to appease England / English fans and bench Ben White. Arsenal's most balanced and complete starting back four IS Riccardo Calafiori at LB, Gabriel Magalhães at LCB, William Saliba at RCB and Jurrien Timber at RB.
when is anyone going to question the integrity of Oliver, he is a disgrace, shouldn't be allowed to referee any City games again.
ref bashing . talksport wonder why referees on the parks get assaulted
What we are saying is that when a mistake is made, we might say it's an oversight...but when that 'mistake' becomes a routine, then something is wrong. Mike Oliver ought to have given one of MC midfielder a second yellow for a vicious foul on Odegaard at the Emirates. Oliver didn't and when asked why, he said it was because he didn't want to ruin the match. Okay, yesterday, Doku ought to have been booked for throwing the ball thus delayed a restart. This same ref called Oliver looked the other way. If he didn't want to ruin the Emirates match which was in MC favour, what gave him the right to ruin Etihad match which was not in Arsenal's favour yesterday? All we want is consistency from this refs. Where there's a rule for all parties, why twist the rule and use it to favour some and not be strict wholly? Let someone give us the answer. We're waiting.
We used to whine when we always got beat off Stoke coz we couldn't compete physically with them. The same is happening from City players and fans. They truly are rattled hahaha 😂 love it!!!

Jeff is not sure that teams are scared to play city at the Etihad 😂 City haven't lost at the Etihad in 2 years. They've won 4 league titles in a row ffs, of course teams don't want to face city at the ground they never lose in.
The fact of the matter is .. one team felt like it had just lost the game in the 99th minute, the other celebrated like they had won the match. Now tell me who has the losers mentality here?
Can players still be punished by video review evidence after a match has been played? If so, Haaland should be banned for at least 10 matches for throwing that ball at the Arsenal defender. Gross unsporting behaviour.

We had a goal conceded after the referee called our captain and then didn't allow him to recover his position. The second goal is already their usual block to our 'keeper allowed by the referee.
"And then the referee allowed a sequence of time-wasting events. The thing that bothers me the most is having a lot of meetings with the FA at the beginning of each season.
