@@Botchulism_asdf i suspect he mentions that the Nameless King doesn't approve of shiny armour because we find ornstein's armour outside the king's boss arena, with no discernable reason for its placement. Suggesting that ornstein wanted to avoid his former mentor's disdain before meeting him again by discarding his armour
This is great! I can't wait for the third part! The descriptions are very vivid and you can really feel the emotions of the characters. I also like the subtle usage of the music in the background as it really helps set the mood.

this really ties in well with why ornstein's armor was found by the nameless king's arena. i hope his way to get there somehow ties in with why he was in the church in DS2. looking forward to the ending! i hope it turns out as dark as the lugwig's story in bloodborne! amazing writing, thoroughly immersed.

It's always a matter of perspective. Gwyn's dynasty was not at all evil. He established a fantastic kingdom. Prosperity and safety were the gifts he bestowed upon the people living within his realm.
It makes it even harder to decide whether to link the fire or let it die out, or to wrest it from its mantle and inherit it as the lord of mankind.
You sir have the potential to be a great author. Love your story telling!

Wonderful writing! I'm loving this more and more as I go, only criticism is that Gwyndolin seems to be being painted in quite a negative light, and while I may be biased I don't think he deserves that for all he does...

As a small critique I would say that the segue into the flashback scene was a little confusing. The change in scene wasn't immediately apparent though I might not have been paying enough attention. It is a grand story to listen to while playing DS 3 after all.
I'm really liking the story and how it immerses me into the world. It might be in part from an already existing connection through the games, but I feel that the story builds an emotional connection to the mythology and characters. I hope that you do more after Ornstein's story.

Okay this game is dark to start with but this interpretation makes the story, or at least this story, much darker in tone.

Suggestion - I like the image on one side and text on the other, but maybe you could change the image every 2 or 3 minutes, in order to make it more immersive if one is reading the text rather than just listing.

Good story. But we never found Ornstein's body in DS3. So your interpretation is kinda stretched. Why would the First Born want to attack or do anything to Anor Londo if he pretty much Helped Lothric. Your theory/assumption about that is kinda baseless.
