Thank you guys for watching this, I really appreciate it. Imma clarify couple things:
1. I’m black, don’t worry lmao
2. I wish I talked about Sekiro & Demon Souls some more
3. If you like this kind of video, be sure to like the video & subscribe for more stuff like it
If you feel like the series will end after Elden Ring DLC, try doing multiple New Game Plus runs. I recommend DS3 as a starting point. There’s something about killing the twin princes 3 times in a row knowing you’re going to go in for at least one more.
Also I have a question. Do any bosses stand like a -REDACTED- better than Ludwig?
@@BDSMaestro Slave Knight Gael a close second
I imagined you to be a skinny white boy so I was so confused
hey you got my sub either way that shit was mad funny
Fought like a what
That ending felt like a true love letter to the souls series.
the ending was really good
Thank u, I spend a lot of time on it!
For real, made me tear up a bit
NOBODY TALKING ABOUT 16:37 IM LOSING IT
Caught me off guard, almost spewed my water. 😂
Fr lmao
AHHAHAHAHAH
Why should we?
What is there to say? Bro pulled a funny.
The video itself was great. But man, the outro hit harder than it had to.
0:12 love it when "it floats down"
Bless IGN for their amazing humor
That got everyone in the office laughing that one did.
I hope IGN start doing those jokes again
bro when i fought abbys watchers the first time i was so hyped💀
and vordt soundtrack🙏🙏🙏
Why are people watching Abby? 😞😞 are they stalkers?!
Ludwig is the greatest boss
Greatest ost
Greatest cutscene
Greatest design
Top 5 lore
This deserves ALOT more views
"no build is gonna have an easier time on her"
Blasphemous Sword and dual katan user: enter the chat
ngl the music used in this vid is so peak didnt expect nujabes to be played when talking about dark souls lol
This guy has some talents for making videos. He will go far under the right circumstances
Ngl, I can solo, but if I can summon, or be summoned, I love co operating in souls games, boss runs, bosses, invasions, and pvp tournaments, the no talking, emote only, spaghetti online code is just peak
Summons are great & don’t let anyone tell u otherwise👍
GOD DAMN THAT EDIT AT THE END
The only problem of your video is that you said no build is going to have an easier tile against Malenia but that's not true : Strength amin are going to deal "easely" with her (or big weapons users)
Yeah but that's universally the case, powerstanced Colossal Swords and 80 STR turns everything into pancakes
Bleed builds too (though those are always strong)
Bleed build aswell
@passpermi730 Hey man I’m kinda a noob and I’d like to try a challenging (but not frustrating) build that takes skill to work. What would you suggest?
@@ekul2k3if you don’t care much for builds and wanna lean more to the skill side mattering most I recommend playing Sekiro, legit has to be one of my favourite games I’ve ever played, there’s still variety on your method of tackling a boss but fights are more about pressuring and parrying so you get to dictate how fast a boss fight goes depending on your skill level
Really good vid, you def deserve more views! Keep up the great work!
Thank you!
Wanted to comment on two things:
-First of all: good video, loved it. The final montage was spectacular.
-When you started talking about "After the DLC get out, thats it" You brought me back. I started the first ds in 2012, and i loved it! From the mood, the ambiance and the story. When DS3 came out and the dlc too... I felt the same. There won't be another Dark Soul. I was really hyped but also bummed out. Something so good is coming to an end and that's it. But that's also the beauty of it. When it comes to an end, the circle closes, the story is told and the game wont be ruined by milking it for too much.
Thanks for the video, bro
Thank you so much & I’m glad you resonated with the ending🙏
Incredible video !! I didn’t expect this kind of quality , keep up the good work !
5:05 SFIII is an example of another game that turns invincibility frames into a mechanic. If you input forward within 6-10 frames of an attack hitting (the longer you hold the input, the shorter the window is), you negate all damage and become invincible for the duration of the parry, and they can be done consecutively if the timing is correct.
Hypothetically, just like Dark Souls, if you get good enough with the mechanic you can take no damage whatsoever. Also fantastic video, 10/10 will watch again.
That’s technically a parry but u right
there isn’t chip dmg in street fighter so can’t you just block? you prolly get a frame adv with the parry but can’t you just block?
@@Terminator-ht3sx sure, technically. And that's how most fights play out because parrying is an art that's very difficult to get down consistently but, like, if you had the option and you knew you'd succeed at either, you should always parry. Those frames are no joke. Letting your opponent run offense is a huge disadvantage for numerous reasons. If it won't be outright 50/50's, the decision fatigue will eventually wear you out and give them an opportunity to rip you a new one, plus the opportunity to likely continue running it in an even more advantageous situation.
Momentum is king in fighting games, I feel
Really cool vid!
You’re incredibly underrated, keep up the amazing work!!
I really enjoy your writing style, please keep up the great work!
That outro was so good! Seriously made me feel stuff. Really good video mate, keep it up :D
Incredible ending edit, good job. ❤
Outstanding video. Unexpectedly excellent quality. Keep going dude. Love it
great video man subbed. that outro went super hard
This is a really high quality video! Definitely earned a sub
Love the video and the editing man!
Great video, great insight, great edits; good job brother
Hilariously great video man THAT part caught me off guard ngl
That was pretty good, outro edit was crazy too
Very well said, edited and done. Good work mate
Holy Shit, its been a long time since I have seen a video this good and nice edited. The Frigid Outskirt Part in your Vid was funny af.
Keep going!
Holy crap great video, editing is top notch, also...
Beat the Demon Of Hatred
You won't.
Really well made video, I have now subscribed.
This is an amazing video for its view count, I pray you make it though the algorithms
this is a great video you did an awesome job
Comedy was on point, really felt the "loser" when dying to the husk of king Vendrick cuz it happened to me more than I'm willing to admit, the first time it happens I didn't knew how to lower his hp before the fight so I smacked that tree for almost 15 minutes just to have my ADP ahh get mushed in two swings and go like "nah not worth it"
Tbf, getting giant souls does suck to grind for lmao
@@WhoIsKaiYT Taking the chance that you replied, one thing I loved about your video was that I grew with Dark Souls 2, I didn't even have internet at the time, just a PS3 and that game my uncle thought was about cool knights and magic, he quit after he tried to beat the troll on the first area, I didn't. Put around 200 hours on the game farming the giant king for max level and trying every build the game offered against all bosses, everything without having an iota of an idea what "getting good" was, because it wasn't about the difficulty or Miyazaki's magic touch, it was about the souls series being amazing videogames regardless of context and their community. Thanks for sharing my love for something so much that you made this incredible video.
Thank you for this reply, comments like this & getting to hear other people’s experiences are the reasons why I make these videos.
Fye vid ur def boutta grow soon 🙏
This a good video man didn’t even realized you had less than 1k subs you have potential
The edit at the end brought tears to me eyes
Awesome video man, I had a similar journey where I started with Elden ring and went on to play the other games, and I can’t wait for the dlc
Glad to know others had a similar experience like me
Very cool outro one of the best i hv seen to be honest.
Good video, it somewhat mirrors my own experience with FromSoft’s games since I too started with Elden ring then went back and played their former work
What was that majestic sequence in the end?!
Really high quality video with good production quality.
I think it's fascinating how different people's experiences are - Maliketh is still difficult for me to an unfun degree for example, but DS3's bosses were largely easy, but still excellent (Gael took me 3 attempts, but still loved it).
Conversely, I still haven't beaten Orphan of Kos, over many months.
Small recommendation: the artist Cthulhuseeker has made several synthwave remixes of ER tracks that might be my preferred versions. :)
Super underrated channel holy moly
investing in this channel
holy fuck, straight up goosebumps at the end
That edit at the end was fucking amazing
Subscribed! Great video :)
bro you gained a subscriber
Thanks for a video, it reminds me of why I have started playing these games :D
Glad to hear it man👍
Because these bosses are treated as bosses they're scary, powerful, epic, challenging and on top of that these bosses leaves memories that last a lifetime and that's why we are blessed to have fromsoftware in our lives
The montage was fantastic
Bro the ending was SO FUCKING GOOOD BRUUHHH you cooked
the beauty of damp souls from a somewhat canonical standpoint is that it really IS hopeless, no one else could succeed through all those bosses, but YOU'RE different. you're the chosen one. so yes i guess theres hope, but not much, as it comes from within, for the crowd cheering you on is only populated by hollows and dregs who still want you dead.
dark souls is the game of "what if EVERYBODY wanted to kill me? how much faith do i have in MYSELF?"
I will always love fighting Godskins because their music is so good.
Bro ended the video with the sickest Edit ever
The bed of chaos was bunk
I agree with so much in this video, these fights are truly something special.
I do wish though that I had even a faint idea of who or what it is I'm fighting more than half of the time in major boss fights 😂
That’s the beauty of it tho😂
@@WhoIsKaiYT I understand that it is for many, but personally I'm more of a fan of fights like Radahn's where I actually have a feeling for how the boss belongs into the world instead of "Oh yea another really cool design, though the enemy seems kinda random" 😅
That outro went so hard
If you ever felt like you have seen everything in any fromsoft game or you get bored try doing a no hit challenge. It will change your mind
Fought like a WHATTT
bro the ending made me cry
Some points.
-the gameplay itself. Souls-like always feels nice even when they are “weak games”.
- the story. DS3 is the one game where the story is perfectly understandable if you know who you are killing. Very few bosses like Rotten Greatwood can be considered “filler” on that one. While most other games have many filler bosses. Like Stray demon, half of DS2, Elden Copy-paste, etc.
-lack of difficulty options. While people are basically making the same difficulty/quality Tier List. On retrospection outside internet-NPC’s you’ll hear stories of people who struggled on a particular boss.
DS2 serpent lady with the floor full of poison. I also heard stories of people calling the dogs of Capra demon the true hardest boss of the series.
-The dance. Again, DS3, Mostly Sekiro, and now Elden Ring are masters of this.
The old games can be beaten with a greatsword and poise tanking without braincells.
But I truly feel the games I mentioned are better balanced for using let’s say a straight sword and mix 1 of your hits during the middle of a boss combo. Sekiro in general. DS3 with many bosses like Lorain and Gael. With Gael you can get 1 hit after every cape combo dodge. Elden Ring and Mogh’s Nameless King timing (AKA super delayed).
Anyways. This comment clearly proves I’ve played TOO MUCH.
So to add a cool fact, Malenia obviously can be a cake walk with the right build.
Such as “Let Me Solo Her”. The build is a mix of Freezing with a cold katana, using fire with Rivers of Blood to reset the Freeze, because Freezing gives a HP explosion every time it procs. There is also the Bleed which is insanely OP in Elden Ring. And finally River’s Fire damage (Fire damage in general) is Malenia’s weakness.
Meaning that LMSH build is one of the best since he is hitting 3 very reliable weaknesses, taking advantage of 1 weakness already makes Malenia way easier.
Which is to say, LMSH build is optimal for Malenia and I would rather rock that strategy compared to other popular ones like Rykard’s Blade.
Also. If somehow someone reached this point in the comment. Demon of Hatred is secretly an amazing boss. You can play “unique” by always running to his back. Or you can grow a pair and stay in his face. You can parry his attacks like any other Sekiro boss. Parrying the 3 head-bangs does build a lot of posture. As well as the 2 leg stomp attacks. And if you master the fight, there is combo that goes like “1 hand swipe, 1 dodge to avoid the fire arm and then regular parry”. Once you manage to learn that parry+ dodge, you will master Sekiro and learn to mix parry+ dodge to be better against bosses!
I will actually use your tips next time I fight Demon of Hatred, thank u for commenting!
11:19 Yes, Sakuya's theme
I had the exact same experience with the Godskin Duo and Maliketh.
Rvb refference in my souls video? I gotta sub now ❤
Amazing video.
That thumbnail got so much aura
Beautiful ending
damn now i know aobut the dark souls 2 spolier for king vendrick
great video
wow, the ending
This dude gets a subscription from me as soon as he ranks soulsborne waifus
MY GOAT
That ending game me chill's
I FIND IT HORRIFYING THAT THE ONLY PART OF THE OUTRO THAT GAVE ME CHILLS WAS WHEN MALENIA SAID HER LINE. 💀
Ain’t no way you said that
So fun thing about i frame dodging as an essential mechanic. Monster hunter has had this since the ps2. And monster hunter became about as popular in japan as call of duty did in the west. So its not wrong to say that potentially fromsoft took inspiration from monster hunter when crafting the boss aspect of their games
If you want a little more of From Soft experience, Armored core 6 is very cool too. It's different from the soulsborn, but very satisfying gameplay.
I’ve been thinking about trying it out but I’ve never played anything like it
@@WhoIsKaiYT just like you haven't played everything like Eldenring before playing Eldenring! You won't know how great that game is unless you try it!
my favorite boss ever is slave knight gael yes i beat him first try but his music and just the atmosphere and story i had goose bumps the entire fight my heart was racing when i finally beat him then i realized that was it i was now done with the dark souls trilogy. + his fight is just feels so good to dodge putting everything l had learned up till then to the test like dodging into his attack to avoid his cape waiting for a opening with my heavy weapon
Gael is probably my favorite fight in DS3, I thought Soul of Cinder was the perfect end to the trilogy but Gael’s fight was something else
This shit is CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED 🗿🗿
Elden Ring was the catalyst for me playing through every other souls game too. Even getting 100% platinum on all of them too. Shadow of the Erdtree is going to be my first time ever going into a souls release. And my first time going into it on the hype train, that last week until the DLC drops is going to be so hype. This DLC is going to be special not just because what I just said but also because it’s going to be the biggest DLC to date and possibly the biggest DLC ever.
Feels like a finale goodbye to fromsoft
Bruh, u made me sad at the end
great vid! do you plan on making more souls vids? if so i’ll def sub
17:50 You move on, find a new goal to chase, you take the lessons you learned here and make yourself stronger. FS will return, and so will you
That is really profound, thank you for sharing this wisdom with me
Damn good video
The only boss I've fought so far is margit the fell (and elden ring is my first soulsborne). The rewarding feeling of finding a new opening to attack and finally beating him was freakin insane
Keep going, the game only gets better from there
@@WhoIsKaiYT I am and I really love it, though I'm still in Stormveil castle and have been for like a week lol
1st off, i loved the video ^_^ 2nd, I realize that he sounds white to some ppl & 16:37 caught ppl off guard, but he clarifies in a pinned comment that he’s black. Hope this helps with the ppl who assumed he was white without checking for clarification : )
When Ludwig starts fighting like a what?
There is a saying if you hate the game you love it (not all games though)
Third strike soundtrack
You‘re right. Souls destroys me until i‘m fighting bosse getting no damage and this feels great.
My first time Margit took around 60 tries and knocking him out was beautiful 🔥
dog you beat v2 on your second attempt!!!
bro u can't say that
he black
I have severe PTSD from mimics to the point that no matter what souls game I play I always heavy attack the chest. 😂😂😂
16:52 this is the most real thing ever. I got into Elden ring coz my friends were playing it and it looked fun, In the past 2 years-ish I have played all of the souls games apart from sekiro. i've platinumed DS1, DS2, DS2 Scholar, DS3, ER and even Demon souls. and I'm afraid of ER DLC as it a) is going to be the greatest thing ever and completely reorganize what my favorite bosses are, and b) what happens next? its probably gonna be a while till we hear anything, Elden Ring 2? another DLC? new Souls game? something else? Dark Souls 4? it scares me that i'm not sure what the future looks like for my favorite game series/group
