  • In this video, we will see which one step polish performs the best. There are four contestants in today's comparison. 3D One, Phoenix E. O. D. Papa Cut, Sonax Cut & Finish, and Turtle Wax 1 & Done. Paint enhancements and one step polishes are foremost the best approaches to modern day soft and thin clear coat finishes. Let's find out if there is one that stands out from the rest.

Brian, gr8 demonstration! All of those compounds have such goods reps. I've only used the TW 1&Done out of the 4 tested here. Coincidentally I've recently worked 2 vehicles in very similar condition using the TW and the 50/50 pad. Results where REALLY impressive not only from the correction standpoint but the final gloss as well. It sure makes sealant/wax application and enhancement a real pleasure. Final results = primo!👌🏼 Your tutorials are always welcome. Shine on you crazy diamond!

Still the best detailer to watch on UA-cam, short to the point, informative and unbiased. Music and foam is fun but I need to work for a living doing this to make money not from UA-cam selling my opinion and using free products and oddly never finding a bad one 😅. Thanks for keeping it on the straight and narrow.

Question though, if I wanted to, could I use one of the two and then use a pure polishing product to get a bit more gloss and depth and a better finish? Or should I just use a polishing pad with whatever one step I choose to use? I don’t mind buying a Polish to finish it off and take the extra time. My paint isn’t very bad either. But it does have some flaws, mostly water spots, not a ton of swirls. 2019 mustang GT. I’d really appreciate your advice!! I do have some buff and shine pads, orange pads and finishing pads.

Ultimate compound is what you would use as the first step in a two step correction. And the the second step would be Ultimate polish (if you're wanting to stay with the same product line.) So what you should do is follow up with Ultimate polish or any other polish you chose to remove swirls and haze. Just make sure you're using a polish and not a compound. Good luck
