Good on you. I just signed up my 12 yrs old and he loves it. He has a trainer so while they do their session, I do my own work out somewhere. They are very welcoming and supportive.
10 years I have with this Daly City Crunch. Absolutely the best gym I could find in this part of the Bay. So many classes offered, great number and type of equipment, clean facility (especially the lady locker room), very knowledgeable fitness teacher, very reasonable membership fee. Last but not least, a great manager who cares for the place and help solve my concerns. Thanks to this gym I am able to keep the doctors away. 🍁😴
No kids on site is a bonus. The downside is the fees I heard that they sneak in. That being said, they have a better cancellation request than most gyms. 30 days is fair, 45 like others is designed to be awkward.
Be aware of the Crunch Gym, personal trainer agreement! Is unlimited payment by auto renewal! They basically want to get paid for a service they didn't deliver, nor wasn't used.
Location location location. Crunch Ancaster Canada is small and dingy but it still gets my money because it is across the road from my workout partner. We could go to a nicer gym but it would add an hour commute to every workout.
You might have the "signature" gym. The closest crunch to me is in a city called Walnut Creek California and it too is that high price. But every other gym within relative proximity is only $35/mo at highest.
every gym will have an annual fee but it's once a year, also the price will very drastically by location, there are 3 near me the one i go to has a base price of 25 and another's base price is 50
This is highly dependent upon the package you sign up for. Yeah, the base level access to all equipment and limited location is 15 a month plus annual fee. But, if you sign up for personal trainers and some of the others, you get charged for it regardless of use of that particular perk. So choose what works best. The one here is always happy to hand out a sheet explaining how much the monthly fees are before tax.
you forgot to ad that you'll get hassled on an almost every day basis about getting a personal trainer and joining classes that'll make that 20 dollar a month payment go up to 300! when you say no. they wanna know why? whats your goals? whats your plan? whats your long term plan? the more you say no.. the more they wanna know why? you're better off buying your self a set of dumb bells and a bench that to put up with the hassle..
Depends on the location. My local crunch fitness has I believe at most two squat racks, one with bumper plates. My local 24 hour fitness has 5 squat racks, three with Olympic plate bumper platforms.
Be aware people will take video of you in group classes wirhout your permission and post it online. Definitely a pet peeve of mine . I'm considering changing gyms because of this.
No. But if ur under 18 ur parents gotta put a signature for ur membership. Once ur parents are there in person when ur getting the membership, u can come in alone without them everytime u workout
I just saw that they let 12 year olds and older join, as long as theyre companied by an adult. Most gyms allow 15yr olds to go alone as long as they have a waiver signed by the parent with the gym. I know im late but i hope it helps
It is as far as equipment. The one close to me is huge, but it's a jungle even at 5 a.m. I can get a better workout at PF than at Crunch. Not crowded and rarely do I ever have to wait for a machine. I do deadlifts at home. Weekends it's like a club atmosphere. I can't stand it. A lot of vendors selling crap getting in the way, like a flee market. And good luck with parking.
Im 13 and work out with my dad and this gym makes me feel welcome being a kid not being able to lift much and a lot of people actually motivate me

I noticed theres a lot less TVs than Planet. Little thing but that alone is a plus.

It looks like planet fitness without the Lunk alarm
Not even close
The Lunk goal is really a golden opportunity
Planet fitness with a barbell and no lunk alarm
CRUNCH charging YOU annual FEES of 67.78$ even if YOU cancel after 1 month!! BE very very aware !
All gyms have pricing setup that way. In a way it's good because it incentivizes you to not quit. Still one of the cheapest gyms out there.
Dont use a card they can charge after you done 😉
@@shardatc3560 YOU have to use void cheque or credit card when u sign up!
Good price, clean equipments and 24/7 operating is all I need.
It just said it wasn’t 24/7

Planet fitness is now 24/5, not 24/7. Sucks!
There’s a crunch opening near me that’s also 24/5 lol
Pf sucks anyway. Getting ready to drop them. They say free training, it’s a big fat lie.Stay away from planet fitness
In the beginning of video I thought you said 21.95 and could get group classes
Prices vary from location some have a base price of $50
Where is it located
😂😂😂Laughing from NY. You’re paying $120-150 here.
What ?
NYC period is a rip off…that’s wild!
Greatest city in America. Except the weather, crime, rent, taxes, noise, rats, and mean people.

What are the fees? 15 a month sounds good but are their fees when first joining? Are there also anual fees?

Is the personal traier there every time
Way better than 24 Hour Fitness. That's for sure.

You need to be atleast 12 with an adult
I have a question does anyone know if they accept 14 years old kid to
That gym ?

A gym is freaking gym if your just trying to stay fit
Yea but some people want certain machines or better hours like 24 hour access
Garbage gym here in Ontario. Freezing cold in winter and equipment broken down and not fixed for months.
Way better than Planet Fitness
