The thicker clip section is to attach to a ball cap hood, the thin section for pocket (lamp down)
Absolutely love the Baton 4, its my SHTF light of choice with the charging case, have one in each car, backpacks etc. Paired with a small solar panel its really the ultimate torch !
Good on ya for being prepared! But remember, several vapers and countless Samsung phone owners found out the hard way that inside car temperatures are too hot for lithium-ion batteries 💥 be safe!

One thing that has amazed me is how long the charger will retain a charge! I've had mine for over 6 months, and for almost that long the charger has retained its 100% charge! There appears to be NO parasitic drain! And checking the power level hasn't impacted the battery level at all!

I usually feel the same way but the olight charger works so well, I feel it is solidly in the "pro" column. All my other flashlights that use USB-C requires a rubber flap to protect it from debris, and this flap always breaks on me (clearing mud out of a USB-C port in the field is a miserable activity). Plus, it makes charging require two hands. The magnetic charger is bullet proof, and can be done one handed without even looking.
I would usually say that. But this comes with the pod and a magnetic charger. Couldn't be easier or better.
It is and not at the same time. The power bank which is the charger itself which is compatible with their other baton and perun series lights totally outweighs that.
Once you get used to the system it’s better than usb, it’s far easier than fumbling with a usb connection, ensures watertight integrity, and not subject to fouling
