- Ahhh, Oblivion, the game that heard it could be anything it wanted to be, so decided to be a potato. But of course, the real question as always is: can you beat Oblivion with poison only?

@@Willzb-xk4ew I beat two worlds in literally 10 minutes, accidentally. Uninstalled it and returned it to the store afterwards citing. 10 minutes is far too little gameplay for what I paid." After explaining in more detail, I got my refund, and I bought another game instead, Wild Arms 3. Lasted way longer than 10 minutes.
When I was a kid, I would refer to the poisons in this game as "Orc Potions" as hitting an enemy with one turns them green. We would always joke about turning all of Cyrodiil into Orcs. This video brought back good memories. Thank you!

Isnt it weird that with fixing faces mod, Baurus and Jauffre dont look "normal" to me anymore? I got used to potato faces!

Funny how it is. All other NPCs look vastly better with OCO, but these two, Martin and Armand really step into uncanny valley for me. And it's more weird, because of the fact that I didn't engage with Jauffre and Martin a lot, I think I even went to Kvatch only one or twice in my life😅

Every time I see an Oblivion video I always want to load it up and remember the good ol days, but every time I do, I just listen to the banger main theme, make a character, leave tutorial jail, and shut it off.

I remember how much I suffered in every dungeon this was in, back when I was a lot younger and was first playing the game.

Technically by using yourself as a lure to lead the bandits to an ambush by the guards, you are risking your own life to help them get rid of bandits that would normally be a relatively dangerous force.

I don't blame them, Dagon is a pretty good story. Lovecraft had some talent.
That acapella oblivion theme went harder than necessary
Poison only in Morrowind would effectively be magic only since I don't think there is zero physical damage melee or ranged ammo. Also, both Daedra and Sixth House member can sport some reflect magic innately even if you weaken their resistance to poison damage. You'll probably want to take a character with poison resistance (Argonian or Redguard iirc) along with Alchemy as a major skill to make restore magicka potions.

Or high elf/Breton for more Magicka to make more poison
well what do you know there's a channel called "Just Background Noise" did exactly just that, sort of, he didn't set Alchemy to major skill just so he could get max Intelligence gain without being forced to level up early

You actually wouldn't! The way difficulty works in Oblivion is to apply a percentage modifier to the amount of damage you deal to enemies and enemies deal to you, and because of the way poisons are coded to apply their effects, the difficulty modifier isn't applied to them. This makes poisons one of the VERY few options to deal decent amounts of damage on max difficulty settings.
I can't help but think the better npc faces look uncanny I always expect the original potato texture

This game was how I first got into ES, however while I’ve not played in years, it’s a Baron video so watching and liking is a must. Apart from that, I hope you’re doing well mate and yes I will always make time for the “British music meme man” apart from doing a marathon of your vids.

Well, except 100% chameleon which is objectively just an upgrade (the effect is the same as 100% invisibility but doesn't wear off from doing things)

The paradise song. I had time to hear para a few times. Had time to realize it was labeled paradise. Heard para long enough to wonder when you were gonna say dice. There was 3 more.... then one more. Then it was over. That was such a Rollercoaster of emotion for me lol
