But as soon as I got to him I just felt it was way too easy and I was forgetting something and didn’t want to miss out.
Thrust attacks are actually extremely useful. They deal about 3 times the damage of a regular attack, and have longer range. Lots of attacks put you in a hard stagger even if you deflect correctly (indicated by sekiro being flung back and dragging his sword on the ground), but you can usually dodge through them just fine. You'll end up behind the boss and too far to land a regular attack, but have enough time to land the thrust. Obviously this is if you're playing normally and mixing deflections with dodges. And those openings are better used for combat arts that do more damage.
He can sidestep any attack when not in an attack animation, not just thrusts. It's honestly pretty cool and requires you not to mash in order to not be caught by his follow-up.
I'm telling you, as good as Baron is at video games, his's even better at making music. Like, these joke songs that probably take way too long to create are bangers. boy what a great vid to watch at 4 am ( yes i am watching it at 4 am ) i love your commentary. glad it was recommended to me.
i loved when sekiro said "its thrusting time" and thrusted inside emma. truly one of the most sekiro moments of all time.
Bro you easily have some the best content on UA-cam, the amount of effort that goes into your videos really shows!
I saw the title and though "OWL FATHER"
Fantastic song choice for the final battle highlight reel against Isshin!
The content on this channel is indescribable
3:18 my thoughts exactly when i first read the title, you got me there mr Castle
(also Sekiro! finally wohoo)
Geni from the block hits! That tune gives me much needed serotonin! Need that on spotify and apple music😂
i never knew isshin would side-step your thrust attacks when he’s idle. it’s pretty neat
He can sidestep any attack when not in an attack animation, not just thrusts. It's honestly pretty cool and requires you not to mash in order to not be caught by his follow-up.
You really thrusted Emma over and over again.
13:45 absolutely psychotic progression path. Senpou to Sunkey Valley to Geni in about 10 seconds.
Love the hades style of when people talk sometimes, also love the challenge and I’d love to see more!
You should really consider putting up an album with all these songs you make for these videos on Bandcamp or something
Welcome back from your break Baron! It's always a great day when you throw us another video.
I'm telling you, as good as Baron is at video games, his's even better at making music. Like, these joke songs that probably take way too long to create are bangers. One of these days Baron is going to win a grammy and make a career switch because he's too good to linger in relative obscurity. And I will be thrilled for him because heck yea! Another awesome video as always, man. Thanks for the awesome, well, everything. Oh, and the Hades dialogue boxes are awesome! Sheesh, how much talent is one guy aloud to have lol!
27:55 well ya have to pay respect to the Source Material someday. Awesome work as always !
@3:20 hahaha yes the first thought that came to mind is "I'd like to see him try that against the owl".
Wow, insanely impressive music segment Baron
Amazing video, my due. As always, your music and jokes are on point. ^_^
